"Do you think the doctors at your place will be able to figure out what's wrong with her?" Cas asks from the doorway. I glance over at Austin to see he still looks scared. And guilty.

Of what?

"Probably," Jack replies as he picks up Phe with so much ease it's as if she were a simple rag doll, which she resembles at this moment. Her limbs hang limply in the air and her head is slumped back, lolling to the side slightly. "Let's go."

We all leave the room and step out into the hallway, just as a loud crash comes from the living room. My eyes widen and I quickly run down the hallway to the living room. Once I get there, I am suddenly face-to-face with a man in a long white cloak, the hood over his head and the shadow from it hiding his features, and I am unable to see anything but his lips. My breath hitches in my throat when I realize that this man looks a lot like the one Phe and Austin described when they were telling me what happened when I was unconscious, the one who was trying to stop them with his ice powers. In his hand is a deadly-looking sword, one that I have never seen before anywhere else.

The blade is long and sharp, pure white, with a hilt so defined and detailed, it couldn't be man-made. The hilt is black, fading up to the white blade, and there are strands of a clear substance spiraling around the blade in a delicate way.

He holds up a small box in his other hand, his arm extended towards us. I suck in a breath and step back in an attempt to get everyone else to get away, but I bump into Cas. "Dammit, Cas! Move!"

But it's too late. The young man's thumb presses down on a button on the small box, and a pulse suddenly shoots out from it, hitting me and everyone behind me.

The young man smirks and approaches us, but I sneer and force my eyes to turn purple again. His eyes widen, surprised. "It...didn't work?!" He growls and throws the box to the side.

For a moment I swear I see a person appear in the blade, their mouth moving before they're gone.

I blink, shaking my head. Probably just the light.

I throw my arm out to the side and I focus. My violet flames travel down my arm and into my hand, and a sword starts to form from them. I grip the handle on the sword, the blade a bright and burning purple, and I lunge at the young man. He sneers at me and swipes his hand through the air, and a lightning bolt shoots at me.

My eyes widen and I quickly dodge. Lightning?! But I thought he had ice powers! I quickly turn to look at Cas. "Cas! Get a portal going! And quick!"

She nods and backs away a good distance, Jack and Austin following her. I turn back to the young man again, dodging another one of his attacks. I feel my wrist start to burn with pain and I flinch. I glance back at Cas to see blood dripping from a cut on her wrist and I turn back to the young man once more.

This time, he attacks with fire. I let it hit me, as fire doesn't affect me, but that doesn't keep the shock from creeping onto my expression. Fire too?! Who is this guy?!

He reminds me of Phe for a moment.

I hear Cas mumble a few words before a swirling pool of red appears in the floor. Jack jumps through with Phe in his arms as I glance back, and I am expecting Austin to follow, but his eyes widen and he suddenly runs up to me and shoves me out of the way. I look shocked as I fall to the ground and he gets hit with a blast of light. His eyes turn yellow and he looks at me. "Go through the portal! Now!"

My eyes remain wide.

"Abby hurry I cant hold the portal open for much longer!"

I quickly stand and run to the portal, just as I hear the young man shout: "You can't escape me, dammit!"
