When the school year started up again, I found myself being extremely busy with school and my music. So two months before we were set to graduate, Jace and I left the fast paced world of school and extra curriculars behind for a weekend and drove up to San Jose for some much deserved time alone at my parents small lakeside villa.

"Its so hot out here," I said to Jace as we stepped onto the lake jetty.

"Almost as hot as me, huh," He laughed.

"Are you kidding me? The sun is nowhere near your level of hotness," I told him with a grin.

"I knew there was a reason I liked you," He winked and then kissed my forehead.

"Do you want to go out for dinner later?" He asked me a while later as we lay on the couch watching an episode of Love Island.

"Sure," I said. "I figured neither of us would want to cook anyways."

"Good. Our reservation is for eight," He told me.

"Oh, we have reservations?" I asked, looking up at him.

"Yeah," He smiled sheepishly. "I figured we could make a date out of it."

I seriously love how Jace insists that we still go out on dates like we're still in the puppy love stage of our relationship. But a few days shy of five months in and I seriously do still feel that way.

"Gladly," I smiled and then kissed him.

When the clock struck six thirty I decided to start getting ready for tonights dinner.

After I showered, I wrapped a towel around my small frame and then sat down at the make up table and started to apply my make up.

I used matte mousse foundation on my face to cover the small imperfections and then proceeded to lightly fill in my eyebrows. My eyelids donned pink eyeshadow and my eyes popped out due to mascara and liquid eyeliner. I used matte red lipstick on my lips and silver highlighter on my cheekbones before finishing off with just a touch of pink blush.

I curled my hair and then left it in a half up half down style with my bangs being clipped back.

Going over to my small suitcase, I was going to pick out a pretty skirt and matching shirt but instead I found a stunning black lace bodycon dress that I didn't pack in.

Have fun on your date, filha

So my mother knew about this? Of course.

I carefully slipped the dress on and then put on the pair of black peeptoe heels that my mom had also packed in.

"Bela? Are you ready?" I heard Jace ask from outside our bedroom door.

"Just a second, nunu," I said and then put on my pink stone earrings as well as my silver friendship charm bracelet.

After making sure that I had my phone and my wallet in my clutch, I stepped out of the room to where Jace was waiting for me in the hallway.

"Excuse me for a second while I pick my jaw up off the ground," Jace said to me. "Sunshine, you look beautiful."

"Thanks," I said with a small smile. "You seriously don't look bad yourself."

And that was no lie. In a traditional suit and tie, my boyfriend looked hot as hell.

"As much as I would love to keep you here all night and admire how beautiful you look, we can't keep the uber driver waiting," He said, snaking his arm around my back.
