Lazy Ass (Kuro X Reader)

"Y/n get up come on." whispered a familiar voice. You groaned in response but opened your eyes anyway. Rin, your older sister, was standing over the bed, green eyes looking down at you with worry and gently shaking you.
"Come on, you know how they get."
"Oh yeah, thanks Rin." you replied hopping out of bed and down the stairs to quickly eat your breakfast. You decide on simple toast; you were too lazy to make anything else. You sat at the counter and ate the food before getting dressed. A pale blue jumper covered your top half and black jeans covered the bottom half. Your h/l h/c hair was slightly messy but neat enough for your liking. Just as you were slipping on your shoes someone tapped your shoulder. When you looked up you were grateful to find it was Rin, her chocolate brown hair up in a neat little bun.
"You ready to go?" she asked.
"As ready as I'll ever be I suppose."
"You and your lazy and sarcastic ways." Rin tutted before unlocking the front door. You followed behind her, not even saying goodbye to your foster parents, and sat in the passenger seat of Rin's car.

She was twenty so she had to work but she always found a way to get you to school. Today was actually your first day at your new school; you had moved here a week or so ago so you had to go to the nearest school now.
"I don't wanna go..." you whined, "I had plenty of friends at my old school so why did we move?"
"'Master's' orders." Rin said sarcastically, keeping her eyes on the road as she drove through the city.
"I'm working overtime tonight and for the rest of this week so you'll have to catch a bus, mkay?" Rin said randomly, "You know where the closest bus stop is right?" she added. You hummed in response. After a couple more minutes you arrived at school.
"Have a good day y/n." Rin smiled as you got out of the car, flinging your backpack over your shoulder.
"I'll try to." You said before walking away and into the building. You already knew which classroom you were in and it wasn't that hard to find thankfully. You slowly slid the door open and walked into the classroom and imediatly saw almost all of the other students fussing over something on one of the desks.

You slowly made your way over, hoping bit to disturb anyone, you also noticed that the teacher wasn't present so you guessed that students just congregated in here until lesson began. You looked through the sea of humans and sitting on the desk was a cat. It was so strange, it wasn't an adult but it wasn't a kitten either and it looked kind of like a cartoon almost. Stranger still, it had dark blue fur and the strangest end to its tail possible. Three large tufts of fur sprouted from both of its cheeks and more long fur lay on its forehead; almost like a fringe. You couldn't help but stare at the strange yet adorable cat; you had always wanted one but your foster parents wouldn't let one set a single paw in the house. The cat slowly stretched, waking up probably, and rather lazily turned around in your direction and opened its eyes and stared into your e/c ones. Your jaw almost dropped, it had the brightest shad of cherry red for eyes.
One of the boys, he had chocolate brown hair and matching eyes, looked up at you. He had previously looked a bit sheepishly at the cat and the others and almost like he was sweatdropping like characters do in anime.

"Do you want to hold him?" He randomly asked. You were taken aback by the sudden question but when you looked at the cat again you couldn't say no.
"Uh-hu." You replied whilst you nodded your head. The boy gently picked up the cat (who looked a bit annoyed but also not caring) it was probably his afterall, and ever so carefully placed it in your arms. The cat was a bit heavier than you expected it to be but it was so fluffy! You felt happiness flood through you almost from the cat.
"His name's Kuro if you wanted to know and I'm Mahiru. Mahiru Shirota." He said. Kuro curled himself into your arms as snuggled against your chest before he seemingly fell asleep. What a lazy cat, almost like the sin of Sloth had been reborn into his body. You slightly rocked Kuro, the bell that hung from a red ribbon around his neck jangling.
"I'm y/n. Y/n l/n." You said, knowing that it was polite to tell Mahiru your name.
"I haven't seen you here before so you must be new, right?" Mahiru questioned.
"Yup, moved here with my older sister and foster parents." You smiled.

You continued to rock Kuro until lesson had to start and you imediatly missed the comfort that he gave you. You did, however, know that you and Mahiru would become friends. 1 down, God knows how many to go...
