Y/n's POV 👧:

I dashed the rest of the way home, mainly so I could do my homework and then binge watch some YouTube but also because I was embarrassed about the fact that Mahiru had seen the text messages. I guess it was rather funny that he brushed it off so  well, not that I expected anything different from Mahiru. He was so organised and tidy and would always volunteered from what I'd seen today. Yet Kuro seemed to be the laziest cat on the planet; how Mahiru could put up with him I'll never know. It also surprised me that the teacher didn't notice Kuro through out the entire day. This school's strange, but cool I guess. I soon arrived home I made a quick coffee and brought it with me, granted I was out of breath from running but it was worth it. I quietly slipped up the stairs and into my room, being careful to not disturb my foster parents who would be in their room; probably banging each other knowing them. I pulled out the homework sheet, a pencil and a rubber/eraser and set about doing my work so I could lay on my bed and be lazy for the rest of the evening. As I worked I hummed the tune of 'Unravel' or more commonly known as the opening to the anime Tokyo Ghoul to help pass the time.

I also hummed the Attack On Titan theme, Yuri On Ice theme, Pokémon theme and the Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid theme. When I finally finished my homework I placed it in my bag and flung that half way across the room before plopping myself on my bed. I got comfy and pulled pulled my covers over me and placed my laptop onto my lap before clicking a random Markiplier video which just so happened to be the first video to his Tattletail game series. I loved the game and had wanted to play it before, I had made a YouTube channel and had all the right stuff so I knew what do do. I quickly whacked on my headphones, closed the curtains and turned out the light before blasting the sound up to full volume. If you don't fully emerse yourself you ain't doing it right. I listened to Mark making a formal introduction to the game before jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire as they say. The guy's brave and all but can become a quivering pussy in less than five minutes depending on the game he plays. I managed to get to the second episode before my phone started ringing.

It was Mahiru so I picked it up cuz I may had well do it even if it took more than 5% of my energy away.
"Hey Mahiru, why you calling me?" I asked.
"Oh just wanted to ask you if you'd like to come over to my place at the weekend maybe to play video games, watch a movie or something y/n." He chuckled nervously.
"What are you, five or fifteen?" I sassed down the phone, "but yeah I'll come if my parents let me that is." I added, saying parents sarcastically.
"Cool so should we meet outside school if you can make it?"
"Yep you betcha you big ol Nutella head."
"Haha funny nickname, need to give you one, so is there anyth-- Kuro stop doing that you're going to end up making a mess!" Mahiru scolded half way through his sentence."Uggghhhh stupid cat making a mess."
"Hehe you and Kuro are like yin and yang; completely opposite of each other." I giggled. I then heard a sound come from my foster parent's room.
"Oh fudgeadoodle I need to go, see ya tomorrow." I whispered into the phone before lobbing it onto my bag and pretending to be scrolling through the internet.

My foster mom, Mary, opened my bedroom door and looked in, scowling slightly at me.
"Who were you taking to?" She demanded.
"Huh? No one..." I lied.
"Don't you lie to me y/n l/n."
"Ugh... fine. I was talking to a new friend of mine." I sighed looking into her grey eyes.
"A friend?! You, make a friend already?" She laughed. I rolled my eyes in boredom somehow without her even noticing.
"Prove it." She said, her voice cold and harsh. I slid off my bed and crawled across the room and retrieved my phone and then faced her again. I had to look up because Mary was insanely tall. I pulled up the selfie I had taken with Mahiru and Kuro earlier on and showed it to her.
"He's my friend." I said.
"Who do you think you are?!" She yelled. I was surprised that Kelvin, my foster dad, hadn't come in yet to see what the ruckus was about. Then I remembered that just like Rin he was working late tonight. Great. A bloody liberty, I was certainly in for one hell of a time tonight. NOT!
