ace's pov:

i ran and ran, forgetting what was behind me for a while to the north part of sone four. starting to smell the remnants of the drugs korse had that lingered for years. i put my bandana over my mouth, seeing the girl hide against the black vehicle, waving me over.

"hurry up!" she said, i ran over, sitting against her.

"i can't go to the driver's side. there's goo." she said, taking my backpack off my back.

"that's his body. just an fyi." i said, looking at her dirty hands, seeing what they were doing.

"arm up kid, they don't call you artillery for nothing." she said. i smirked at her and grabbed jet star and the kobra kid's guns, putting them in my un-used belt buckles, my gun holders. everywhere. i grabbed an extra one to put in the opposite buckle.

"i raided out condemned weapon shops. they usually had food in the vending machines." i said, picking up three other guns i had, old but sturdy ones, giving them too her then grabbing the back again.

"you're nuts. i love you." she said, than grabbed y face and kissed me hurriedly. i held it longer until i heard voices in reality. not the ones in my head.

"i love you two. don't die today okay? ' i asked. she nodded and sat tight, grabbing my hand, and kissing it quietly. hearing the voices stop as they approached the other side of the car. knowing what they were staring at.

"that is what love does to people." we heard in a woman's voice. i looked to her.

"1." she mouthed. i stared, taking in the childhood playground one last time.

"2" they were looking in the car. i knew it.

"3" she said, we let go of our hands and jumped up, immediately starting to shoot double gun style, the BL/ind workers didn't eve see me, as i shot two of them, dropping to the sand.

"GO." the woman screamed, people from behind her started to run. the girl shot two more of them with her famous ray gun. i used my regular two and knocked out two important looking people, but they wouldn't be anymore. more than likely anyway.

"c'mon! i brought you out here for a reason!" she yelled, i rolled my eyes, running straight at her now, but got tackled by a drac who was with them. the girl shot the drac off me and got me up, continuing to fight. i went right back up and killed an exterminator. way too tired but still running perfectly for no reason.

"the only reason you're out here is for the both of us! so come on!" i screamed, the woman smirked as i shot twice at her main guard, right in the chest. the girl smiled very big from twenty feet away, killing a scarecrow.

"oh honey, no requests." she said, smiling. i rolled my eyes, killing another drac as they were coming in waves.

"don't call me any substance that is made by an extinct species. you killed them anyway, so stop being hypocritical." i said, sassing her, getting closer to the woman, she put her hand at her hip. i laughed and shot a guard off the girl, running over and picking her up. realizing it was just us and the woman left.

"oh. well done bees." she said, smiling, smirking. i was out of breath but i could care less. i gripped the gun i made when i was young, art is the weapon, isn't it?

"more like wasps, we don't die after we sting." the girl sassed. i laughed purposely.

"and we also don't kill people for fun." i replied, the girl beside me nodded.

"you asked for it." the woman said, then stared right into our sets of eyes. i grabbed my gun, the girl held my hand down.

"no. not yet." she said. i nodded, and waited. looking behind the woman, knowing there was something behind her.

"excuse me, lady." i said. she blinked.

"yes wasp?" she asked, i smiled.

"can you play cards?" i asked. the girl looked at me as if i were crazier than i really was.

"what are cards?" she asked. i walked closer to her, she leaned in. staring at me only. the girl behind me moved to the left.

"what would win. a king, or an ace?" i asked, in her face now, looking up at the heeled woman, i counted with my free hand for the girl. the woman looked at me a if i was stupid.

"a king." she answered, rolling her eyes. i chuckled once and raised an eyebrow, twitching my face and looking at her with a side smirk. counting from five.

"you should learn what they are before you guess who powers who, because once ace will always win over one king. and i guess the king didn't power over the queen hard enough, because clearly, you don't know anything. nice try." i said, the woman looked at me confused as i released the one onto the card.

i shot her in the gut, then again in the chin. i heard ray gun shots behind her as the girl shot down the last follower, then a sea of dracs that were behind the old human dropped to their knees. i looked to my left, smiling at the girl.

then it all went black.
