ace's pov:

i looked in the mirror after party cut my hair and evened it out. i stares in awe at the cut i saw. i looked up at them both with a big smile.

"see, i told you we know what we're doing." party said. i hugged him and the ghoul.

"thank you! i love it!" i said, ghoul looked at party then to me.

"i can tell!" he said. i smiled and looked again.

"hey guys, come out here!" pony said, leaning on cherri. they'd been getting closer as pony had started to skate again. considering walking was something they did in their sleep.

"what?" i asked, we opened the door, it was just the two of them.

"we need to do the radio report." cherri said, then kissed pony on the cheek. i chuckled and nodded, looking to my parents in the eyes as i went in front of them.

"sweet hair cut artillery!" pony said, then came forward to investigate.

"thanks." i said, looking back at the two behind me.

"those two are good at them, let me tell you. c'mon. are you ready?" he asked. they nodded and walked up the steep staircase and into dr. death's office. who was waiting there. they weren't going to talk about me. that was obvious, and quite frankly i didn't want to be talked about.

"alright my dear killjoys. you've all asked what in the name of stars and jars is dr. death defying trying going to announce? well here we go. killjoys. about four years ago two killjoys were found in the desert, escaping some dracs. a little girl killed them for them and ran away in no man's land. those two killjoys were taken by cherri cola back here and haven't left. why do i talk about these two? well. they're supposed to be dead, dead because of morse. but of course they caught death and two rebels in battery city saved them. the static never got to them. who are these killjoys? i'll let them speak for themselves. you'll be as shocked as i was. when i saw them alive." he explained, i smiled as i saw party take ghoul's hand as they went to the microphone.

"hello killjoys, if you don't know my name already by my voice, it's party poison. yes. i'm not dead. why did it take so long for me to come out in the open? well dr. death didn't want any dracs getting to me until they were all gone. so i wouldn't have to die again. although, i'd rather fight and loose than not at all. i'm not the only one of the four who lived. my long time friend and lover fun ghoul is beside me. ready to say hi too." he said, then gave the mic to frank. i was smiling like a total idiot.

"hey guys, yeah i'm still short shore shoes. i'm still short. we're alive. and now we're not hiding. we weren't allowed to fight on behalf on who kept us safe. but now we're allowed out. if you don't believe us, then you'll just end up lying to yourself. i hope you're all doing well zones 1-6. from the alleyway painters to the zone six riders. i genuinely hope you're all doing okay." he said. then gave the mic back to dr. death. ghoul looked over to me and smiled.

"you heard it here first. they're alive. that's all for now killjoys. that's dr. death defying, signing off." he said. then put in the star spangled banner.

"i think you'll need these!" i said, grabbing the trans- am keys from my backpack and throwing them to party. he caught them and smiled at me.

"c'mon. where's the car?" he asked. i smirked and sighed.

"in the shed at the diner." i said. he rolled his eyes and took ghoul's hand.

"c'mon. we got a shortcut to run through!" he said. i smiled as cherri opened the door. the two put on their jackets and started to run, with me behind them.

"go through there!" ghoul yelled. i nodded as we ran through a bit of grassy lands. showing up in bushes in the sand.

"left!" party yelled. me and ghoul followed, seeing the back of the diner.

"and let's get on route guano, kid, get back middle." he said. i smiled as i opened the shed doors. acknowledging the graves behind me of kobra and jet. only there were a ton of fewer flowers left on top.

"they're there?" party asked. i nodded.

him and ghoul went to the graves. party hugged both tombstones. kissing his brother's. ghoul practically talked to jet's grave. i smiled as i leaned on the hood of the car.

"thank you." the both said. i smiled as party, ghoul and i got into the car in silence. then drove out to route guano to go on a zone ride.
