Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman Fanfiction

We haven't seen any signs of Scruff since the investigation of Lake Shuttle. It's only been about a few days later. Ruff has explained to us what had happened between him and Scruff. When they were puppies, they use to be best friends. However, over time, they started fighting. Next thing they knew, everything became a competition. They've been having a sibling rivalry ever since. However, he never explained how Scruff became a criminal in the first place. I just assumed that he doesn't really know. I guess it would be something that will forever be a mystery.

Hazel and I were at Ruff's doghouse one Tuesday afternoon, organizing the files. We weren't really expecting any visits nor any mail that day. I felt exhausted because Ruff called me the night before to inform me that he wanted us at his house by seven in the morning. It's currently three-fifty in the afternoon. I really didn't get much sleep. It's just a rough day today, I thought. Even Blossom was tired, and she's the hardest working out of all of us. Then, there was a call from the Fetch 3000. Ruff immediately answered the phone. It was Grandma Ruffman. She is the grandmother of Ruff and Scruff. She wears a pink dress with a pearl necklace. She has very similar physical characteristics with Ruff, along with a mole on the side of her face. She also has grey, bushy hair and also wears glasses.

"Ruffy, can you watch Jerry for me, dear? I have a doctor's appointment today," she asked.

"Hi, Grandma," I said.

"Hello, Ruby. It's nice to see you again," she replied.

I have already meet Grandma Ruffman before. She's overall nice to all of us. Even though I rarely see her, I did enjoy her company. Then, we saw Jerry fly across the house and land on the Fetch 3000. Jerry is a green parrot who mimics anything he hears, like most parrots. Grandma Ruffman has been having him for about four years now. Since she lives alone, Jerry is the only thing that keeps her company.

"Sure, Grandma, we'll look after Jerry," I said.

"Thank you, dear, I'll see you in a few hours," she replied. The called ended.

"Well, Ruby, you can look after Jerry for me," Ruff said.

"Okay, Ruff," I said.

"You can look after Jerry for me," Jerry repeated back to us.

I continued to work while making sure that Jerry doesn't touch anything. I had to leave some seeds and a cup of water for him to eat and drink. Ruff didn't seem too excited to pet sit Jerry for the billionth time. Grandma Ruffman has left Jerry with us every once in a while, so I did get to talk to her a couple of times. As we were minding our own business, we got another call. I had no idea who would be calling us. Ruff decided to answer the call. The screen came out of the Fetch 3000 and there was another dog on the screen. He had very similar traits to Ruff such as fur color and body type. He was wearing a blue traditional wizard costume, glasses, a fake white beard, and braces.

"Hello, Ruff," he said. I noticed that he pronounced his "l's" and "r's" with a "w" sound to it.

"What do you want, Glen?" Ruff asked.

"I have a new wizard game called 'Exploring Sights'. Do you want to play with me?" Glen replied.

"Not now, Glen. Were busy." Ruff replied.

"Ruff, who is this?" Hazel asked.

"Oh, guys. This is my nephew Glen. He should be calling me at this time." he said to us.

"Do you want to play Exploring Sights with me?" he asked us.

"Actually..." I said.

"No, Glen. We're busy right now." Ruff interrupted.
