YIXING:

"Come on, we're going," I stated, grabbing hold of my little sisters hand, pulling her off of the couch.

"I don't wanna!" She whined as she landed on the floor, allowing me to just drag her across its "I wanna stay here!"

"Chenlu, that Whiney shit stopped working when you turned 12. Get the fuck up." I laughed, shaking her arm around. All I wanted was to go for a walk with her.  Chenlu had been here a few weeks now and I still hadn't gotten the chance to spend some alone time with her.
The boys and I had to rehearse for the upcoming concert, and even when we did have the day off, we couldn't really walk around in broad daylight, the fans would go crazy.

"Why can't we stay here?" She huffed, pushing her bottom lip out in a pout.

"Because I want to hang out."

"We can't hang out here?"

"No, because the boys will interrupt!"

"Damn Yixing, that's kind of harsh," Baekhyun stated, walking into the room, hand on his chest feigning offence. "If you wanted your sister to yourself you should have just said so."

"Hey, Baekhyun-" Minseok shouted, barging into the room, halting when he saw my sister on the ground. He looked up at me and then down back at her, repeating this a few times, opening and closing his mouth. "did I come at an awkward time?"

"Did I miss something?" Chanyeol asked, scratching the back of his head in confusion. "Why is the little Zhang on the floor and why is the big Zhang dragging her across it."

"See!" I whined, stomping my foot like a child.

"Why's Yixing acting like a spoiled six years old please?" Sehun asked, walking in with Kyungsoo who just looked unbothered as he sipped his tea.

"Yixing wants Chenlu to himself," Baekhyun explained chuckling.

"What?! No fair!" Jongdae whined folding his arms.

"What do you mean no fair?! She's my little sister." I asked, throwing my hands in the air.

"That's what your problem is?" Kyungsoo asked, raising his eyebrows. "Yixing you're not being serious..."

"No, he's being serious." Jongin chuckled.

"Well..why don't we see what Chenlu what's to do." Junmyeon laughed shaking his head. "This is all a bit childish."

I nodded my head in agreement. That was fine. "I trust my sister 100% to come out and- Chenlu what the fuck?!" I shouted. I'd looked down at my feet, expecting to see her laying on the floor still but, I did she wasn't there. Instead, she was on the ground, sushi wrapped in her blanket, eating some Oreos and watching the drama she'd been watching all day.

I sighed I defeat "okay, looks like I'll get ice cream by myself."

Her head snapped up at the mention of ice cream, her eyes lighting up like a child's. "Ice cream?" She asked gleefully "why didn't you tell me sooner?!" She scrambled to her feet, throwing the blanket on the floor and pushed past the members to get to me. Grabbing my hand, she bid farewell to the rest of my bandmates and pulled me to the door.

"Come on big brother, let's go! Let's go!" She squealed, tugging on my arm telling me to move faster.

I chuckled, I always knew how to win my sister over.

She hadn't changed a bit.

We had spent the first 15 minutes together in complete and utter silence as we ate our ice creams. Why? That was just one of Chenlu's odd policies.

You learn it the easy way, or you learn it the hard way. Either way, you're gonna learn it.

That's a promise.

After she'd slapped me when I was 12 I'd never forget that rule: "When I'm with my one true love ice cream. It's just me and the ice cream. Don't talk to me until the ice cream is finished." Was permanently engraved in my head.

"You want my ice cream?" I asked, laughing "you've been eyeing it since you finished yours."

She shrugged, shaking her head. "No, I'd rather do this."

I raised an eyebrow "do what?"

"This," she said, grabbing hold of my arm and pushing it towards my face, making ice cream go all over my nose.

I sighed. I fall for it every time.

She dies laughing every time.

"You should have seen your face!" She giggled, clutching her stomach. "You fall for it every time!"

"You laugh every time." I retorted, pulling a pack of tissues out of my pocket. "You really haven't changed."

"nope." She replied popping the p. "Same old Chenlu."

There was a bitter tone in her voice.

I don't press on it.

"So what are you doing back home then? Seeing anyone?"

She shrugged, "life's uneventful. Still single."

There's sadness in her voice.

I don't press on it.

"Everyone back home is obsessed with you by the way." She chuckled, pushing my shoulder softly. "My famous big brother."

I don't know why, but I suddenly just wanted to cry. I slowly stopped walking, staring at her.

What's going on Chenlu?

"I'm just your big brother."

She stopped walking and turned around, pushing her eyebrows together, humming in confusion.

"Not your famous big brother. Just your big brother. Just Yixing."

She gave me a close-eyed smile and giggled. "You'll never be just Yixing anymore."

My heart sank.

That was my reality.

I would never be just Yixing anymore.

I would always be 'Exo's Lay'.

That was my reality now.

Branded by SM.

Not even my own person.

I loved being an idol, I loved music and I loved to dance but sometimes, it just got a little...

Tiring?

Yes, tiring. There were times when all I wanted to do was give up and go home to my family and continue with the life I'd once left behind there were times when I wanted to be a normal guy who could do and act how they wanted. Who could eat when they pleased and rest whenever the hell they wanted too.

I didn't really have much insight on what Chenlu was doing back in China, whether she had a good job or if she'd made a few friends at least, but I envied the way she could walk down the streets dressed however she wanted and how she could say what she wanted and walk down the road with whoever she wanted without a bunch of people running up to me asking for pictures of going into panic mode on whether I was dating or not.

I loved my fans, I loved my supporters, I even loved my haters. Without them, I wouldn't be where I was today. I owed all my fame and all my success to them. But sometimes, I just wanted to be 'just Yixing'.

And Chenlu saying that I'd never be that guy again hurt.

Because it was the truth.

"Unfortunately, you'll always just be my big head big brother." She laughed, sticking her head out playfully. "My stupid, stupid big brother that I love."

Her eyes widened when she noticed the tears that were rolling down my cheeks. She panicked, asking me why I was crying while frantically searching herself for tissues.

I shrugged, wiping my tears with my sleeve. "Sometimes, I just feel an overwhelming rush of emotion."

Right now, I was feeling an overwhelming feeling of envy.

Envy towards my sister, and her freedom.
