Connor x reader

It was as if the books littered on your table were taunting you, telling you to read them so you could be overwhelmed to the brim. You hid your face in your arms, wishing that they would go away and leave you in peace. Unfortunately, you really had
to continue your studies even if your body felt heavy.

From a few feet away, Connor witnessed your tensed body. Running a small scan, he learned that your heart was pumping faster than usual, your mouth was tight, and you were
starting to sweat. He made his way to you and sat on the other chair next to
you.

“I detected several symptoms related to stress in your body and I would like to know why that is,” Connor stated with an eyebrow lifted. Not wanting to lift up your head, you murmured something under your breathe that the android wasn’t able to catch
up on.

“I’m sorry, what was that?” He asked as he got closer to you.

“I said that I need to study but… it has been too much.” Connor’s lips formed an ‘o’ at your statement and took one of the many books on the table. After skimming through some pages, he returned it to its previous spot and placed a hand on your back.

“Why don’t I assist you? Based on what I just read, the topic is something that I have knowledge of and I would gladly help you study.” You snapped your head to the man before you, a small sparkle in your eyes.

“Really?” You let out with disbelief.

“Of course. I will assist you as best I can,” the android added with a smile on his lips. “If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask me.” Connor was shocked when he realized that you took him on your arms, uttering several thank you’s. Unsure
of how to react, he went to softly pat your back.
