Connor x reader

“There’s nothing to worry about. You have done this many times before,” Connor stated next to you while his hand rested on your shoulder.

He was completely right and you weren’t going to deny that, but tests were… tests. No matter if you had done hundreds of them in your short life, you would still get nervous about them. All those questions such as if you studied enough, if there was the possibility that there could be a tricky question took over your whole body and mind. The possibilities were endless.

As much as you tried to explain your feelings to the android, it was still hard for Connor to fully understand your struggle. Sure, he was designed to underestimate humans and their complexities, but being one that doesn’t go through and feel such things, it was acceptable.

Well… what can one do.

“You will do well and I know that for a fact.” That sweet smile of his relaxed some of the tense muscles in your body, but only a little. Even if you tried to relax, barely anything could ease you.

“I know but…”

“Don’t worry, it-” He suddenly stopped and you went to look at what had caught his attention. Connor was looking at the clock that was next to the both of you, signaling it was time for you to go. Your nervousness spiked up once again and you went to look into Connor’s brown eyes. Soft, yet determined.

Shaking your head a little, you jumped up from your seat and patted away any wrinkles your clothes had. The man next to you followed suit and smiled at you once again, his arms idle by his sides.

Without a second, you lifted your hands in front of you, your palms facing him while your mouth was set into a straight line. You could clearly see the confusion written all over Connor’s face, unsure of what had taken over you. Your eyes pleading him to do the same and quick, even if he didn’t understand what was happening.

Connor’s eyebrow rose as he slowly lifted his hands to you, his fingers straight and somewhat unnatural for a human. With no warning, you clapped your hands against his and you quickly turned to the room you were suppose to take your test.

If you had stayed there with Connor for a few more seconds, you would have seen the shock and bewilderment in his eyes, frozen on his spot.
