Taking you out of the party hadn’t been easy for Connor, considering the fact that you let your body weigh as heavy as a sack of bricks and you constantly hollered at him to let go of you. Being the android he is, he didn’t comply to any of your insisting and the only thought in his head was to treat you at your house.
Once at your door, Connor constantly struggled to keep you upright in his arms while he tried to insert the key into the lock.
“Conooor, what are you doing?” You slurred next to him, your breath hitting his nostrils. He was more than thankful that he could shut down his sense of smell anytime he wanted.
“Trying to open the door, but carrying you makes it more difficult.” He heard as you let out a snort – not sure if because of what he had said or because you were laughing at anything that seemed funny to you – Connor just continued with his current objective. Finally, the android unlocked the troublesome door and pushed it a bit too hard for his liking with his foot. Spotting the couch in your living room, he dropped you there, a whine escaping your mouth.
A cold shower was a quick remedy to make a drunk person come back to its senses and that’s what he decided to do with you. Taking a hold of both your hands, he pulled you up from your spot, making you crash into his chest. He slant back at the impact
but quickly regained his footing and slung your arm around the back of his neck for support.“Did ya know that you’re cute?” Connor stopped in his tracks at your small compliment, giving you a bewildered look.
“How so?” He asked a bit curious as to what you found ‘cute’ about him. He knew it was the alcohol that was making you blurt out silly things such as these, but he guessed there was no harm in making you speak more.
“Weeell, the way you smile so awkwardly sometimes is soo cute that you should be punished for it,” you softly giggled between words while Connor began to think more deeply about what you had just said. He wasn’t the best at smiling, he acknowledged that, but at least he tried when it was needed or when it was the appropriate moment. Feeling a hand on his right cheek, he flinched at the sudden contact and went to look at you, wondering what you could be up to this time.
What you did was beyond what his mind could process and he could only stare at his feet as a result. You had placed a sloppy kiss on his cheek while a goofy smile graced your lips.
“There, puunishment done,” you blurted out with a giggle. Connor was awestruck, motionless, uncertain of what he should do. He felt his artificial heart pump faster than usual and he hated that he couldn’t make it go back to its normal rhythm. Is this what the humans called to be flustered? It made his mind go completely blank, the warmth of your lips still lingering on his cheek. If he could blush right, he was sure that his face would be tainted red all over.
“L-Let’s take you to the shower…” He finally added as you started to groan disapprovingly, making the both of you almost fall on your backs by the shake of your head.
