It was the second anniversary of Pidge's death.

It was a somber day on the Atlas.

At Least, it was planned to be.

Instead they all found themselves smiling and having a grand ol time. Hunk and Shay were engaged. With Rax's blessing even being given. Why wouldn't those aboard the Atlas not be happy? It wasn't like they had a calendar to actually know what day it was.

By now, the crew knew for sure they were fighting against Lotor and Haggard. As it was it also seemed several War bosses joined them and gained high ranks. That wasn't the only person however to align themselves to the evil empire.

Lotor's Executioner did as well. That was the title, uppercases and all. It was obnoxious. The atlas crew hated them. Although they had only joined Lotor's legion seven months ago, already over a hundred people that they knew of was dead by their hands. A hundred innocent people that was depending on Voltron to protect them.

Some of the murders even happened while Voltron was on the planet.

That was frustrating.

What annoyed the team was how each murder spot, something was there. They just couldn't figure out what exactly was bugging them. Everyone had tried to piece it together in their own specialties. Nothing came up. So now, they avoided the murder locations due to the paranoia that lingered with it.

Onto a happier note, the famous leg of Voltron had cornered all three other male paladins with a grin so they knew he was up to no good. Hunk already had asked Rax, now it was their turn. "So, I need you guys to do something to help with the wedding."

Matt eyed him cautiously but was brave enough to be the first one to reply. "And what would that be?"

"Groomsmen?"

Keith straightened his posture somewhat shocked that Hunk was asking them. Well, atleast him. Then again he knew he would ask Hunk if he was in the situation of being engaged. "Sure?"

Matt grinned "Hell yes!"

The yellow paladin looked to Lance. "I was hoping you could be the best man?"

Lance was grinning. There was no way he would be turning down Hunk after knowing him all these years. They were the garrison trio! "Of course! I mean we were a team before Voltron!"

Hunk gave a sad smile "With Pidge. God, that was so long ago."

Lance and Matt stayed silent as Keith nodded thinking on all those times when they were kids, she'd talk about getting married to a genius. Katie was a girly girl after all. She liked dresses and long hair. She was also a nerd and loyal.

Matt smiled "She'd be happy to, let's not think about it."

The group changed the topic and quickly began laughing. The day was a good day for everyone aboard the Atlas. It was even a good day to be an enemy of them.

Lotor was frowning as soon as the witch that birthed him entered the room. Haggard would never be his mother, Honerva was. On top of which she just couldn't be trusted, few of his allies could at the minimum trust him. At that moment however, that list of allies that trusted him were one. His executioner They trusted him to do awful things but be civil towards them, just as he trusted them to kill and be what they called salty. Whatever that meant.

"What is it?"

"Voltron just freed another planet! Your plans are failing boy."

"What do you expect! You forced me to send our worst fighters. If you want the best then-"

"No. I refuse to send out that brute."

"You yourself know they are quite a lovely tool."

"No. Now figure this out." Haggard left leaving Lotor more frustrated than usual. Why did he out of everyone be cursed with her? He wish he knew. What made it worse was she wouldn't listen to reason.

As soon as he left he walked out to go to a certain someone's room. It was the tool he was referring to.

The door easily slid open and he could easily see the scarred women who stayed here. She was young by most of the species standards. After all, she was only eighteen. Although a pain to deal with at times, it was easy to convince her to work. All they had to do to subdue her was threaten her planet. "Katie."

"What now. Hack the Atlas again?"

Lotor smirked "The job may be bigger. Be prepared to do far more than hacking."

The brunette was glaring as she slowly stood. Slowly from recent injuries she had just received. Most were from Haggard or other champions in the arena that the Galra just adored. She rolled her eyes "What this time?"

"Infiltration. Killing. Atlas."

"No fucking hell. I may get information for you but there is no hell in way I'll kill them for you."

"That's what you say now, Katie Holt. Soon enough, you may not get a choice. Although, it's not like it would matter. They don't even think your capable of breathing as of now."

The door closed once he existed the chamber. Forcing her, the ex-paladin, would take time, but he was sure someone would be going in to kill at least someone of importance and get information soon. Very soon, whether it's her or not.
