Griffin and the other pilots weren't happy. They never got any say. And when they were cleaning up their planes, which they luckily got some say in, one after another blew up. Sirens were wailing as an announcement droned on about the Executioner escaping.
When the day started Lance was happily chattering with Shay about the baby. Hunk was in the room but cooking and with a pregnant wife he thought it best to focus on the food then deal with Lance attempting to find out the name. Shay wasn't saying anything. Even when Rax started questioning her.
"Please!"
"It will remain a surprise. No matter who asks."
"I'm your brother!"
"I'm basically Hunk's brother!"
"Unless you make some miracle happen, no."
Rax grumbled while Lance realized he could easily find out the name. At least until Keith stormed in dragging what seemed to be a knocked out Executioner. Not good at all. Why did he have to be the one in charge of her again? Keith really should've just agreed to Shiro knowing. "She was talking to someone."
"Why is she knocked out."
"She's faking."
"Or sleeping? She sleep talks."
"About Lotor?"
Lance paused. No matter what he said they'd just want to kill her. "She hates him, so probably about betraying him. She's only working for him to kill Matt." Hopefully that would work. But then again, why would she be talking about Lotor?
"Why does she want to kill Matt so much!"
"I," Lance was screwed. It wasn't like he knew. All he knew was that it had to do something with Mryma. "Matt knows what he did. If he wants to tell everyone then I'm sure she wouldn't care. She might actually like everyone better."
So, that's what happened. Everyone was forced to the meeting, including the pilots, Shay, Rax, Collen, Krolia and the limited others onboard along with the group present in yesterday's meeting. The Executioner was now awake and silent sitting beside Lance and Shiro. She was going to enjoy watching everyone's reactions.
"Are you going to start Matt?" muttered Keith still not liking the fact of the Executioner not only living but so many things about her they didn't know.
The green paladin stood and focused on the dark mask she adorned. "Everyone knows Shiro attacked me so I wouldn't be out in the Arena. After I healed, the druids took me to an operating room. There was a little girl, Mryma, strapped to the table. I was ordered to operate on her or they'd shoot me on the spot."
Colleen was covering her mouth as Sam paled. What did their son do? Shiro was staring, hard at the green paladin. Disappointment washed through his face. Although, Keith doubted it was because what he did, it s most likely because he didn't tell anyone. It wasn't like Shiro would get made at Matt. Keith was probably the only one who knew of his feelings.
"So, making sure she was still awake, I, tampered with her genetic coding. I made it so when ever she breathed, it would hurt. Throughout the process she was screaming. When I was done, we made eye contact and I could only stare into her blue eyes full of tears."
"Matthew." whispered Sam.
"Then, Haggard and two guards came in. They gave me a choice. Either they would send me to the arena or, I could choose to send her. I, I choose to send in a child. A child, I just made sure her life would be tortured, to compete. Mryma, I'm sorry."
