The rest of the English class passed in mutual silence from the pair, with each of them giving each other a quick glance when they thought the other wasn't looking. After her first class ended, Hazel quickly sped out avoiding everyone who tried to greet her. Rosalie watched in curiosity, clearly the girl didn't want any attention and was not attempting to make any friends, not that Rose could blame her with some of the humans in this place.
Hazel quickly headed over to her next lesson which was Maths and wished silently her grandmother had taught her to at least make someone go silent as the teacher made her stand up and introduce herself. That lesson went by quick and she found herself heading to biology. "You're the new girl right?" A blonde guy asked her as she sat next to him at his desk, she just nodded getting her notepad out "Hey I'm Mike Newton." She just nodded again, crossing her arms on the desk "so how are you finding Forks? You're from Atlanta right?"
"How'd you find that out?" Hazel asked raising her eyebrow. She was unaware of how fast people were talking about her and she wasn't enjoying it.
"It's a small town, people talk" he smiled sheepishly. She just nodded again.
"Yeah, I'm Hazel by the way."
"Oh I already knew I just didn't want to be creepy by informing you I already knew your name."
"But you're happy telling me now?" Hazel smirked, Mike seemed pretty harmless, just trying to be nice.
"Yeah well, I mean you know we started talking and" his hand went to the back of his neck clearly uncomfortable "I'm sorry I'd didn't mean too-"
"Mike chill, I'm just busting your balls." I grinned. Hazel knew she was sort of breaking her rules but she wasn't heartless. She couldn't ignore someone actually trying to make an effort with her. While her and Mike were talking she felt eyes stare at her back. She turned and made eye contact with another golden eyed person. He was quite good with reddish brown hair, the same paleness as the other girl. He frowned at her, so she gave him the finger back.
Dude looks like he's trying not to give birth to kidney stones or something. I really need to get Grams to teach me how to curse or some shit, Hazel thought as she turned back around smirking, Mike fist-bumping her as she did.
"What did you do to piss of Edward Cullen?" He asked still chucking at the girls action.
"I have no idea that's the first time I laid eyes on the dude. What's his problem?"
