Merry Christmas! I love you all!

Gwilym Lee was only sure of one thing:

This "reunion" had gotten out his hands.

It was hard to believe that no one in his house was a teenager, because they all surely were behaving like ones. For example, one of Gwilym's best friends, Gilbert, who was known for being serious and dignified, was now sucking the tongue out of his girlfriend in the middle of the sitting room, and Gwilym's cousin was doing karaoke as she stood on a chair, clearly off her face. Gwilym just stared at his guests. He wasn't drunk, not yet. He had to stay sober until the moment Belle asked for her first drink.

"Are you sure Belle's gonna come?", Gwilym asked Ben, who was standing next to him smoking a cigarette.

"Yeah. I think she's gonna be here soon," Ben replied.

Gwilym nodded, taking a sip of whiskey.

"Are you sure you're gonna be strong enough to see her get married to your cousin next week?", Gwilym questioned, wondering if Ben would hate him for asking this.

"Yes, of course. What a weird question."

"It's not weird at all. You like her."

Ben glanced at Gwilym with annoyance.

"Does she.. does she know that you like her?", Gwilym continued.

"No, of course not. I would never tell her, even if my life depended on it."

"Why?".

"Why?", Ben scoffed. "Because I'm married, Gwilym. What kind of question is that?".

"What does that even have to do with anything?", Gwilym exclaimed with furrowed eyebrows. "It's just you telling Belle that you like her. It's not like you're going to be asking her to marry you or something."

Ben rolled his eyes, taking a slow deep drag from his cigarette until he spotted the most ethereal human being in the world to him. It obviously was Belle, making her way through the crowd towards Ben and Gwilym. She looked pretty, so pretty, wearing a mid-length dark red dress with black heels, making her startlingly white skin stand out boldly. It was unusual to see her like this, Ben thought, so he tried hard not to gasp when she came close to him.

"Hey guys. Sorry for being late, I was stuck in traffic," Belle said as she hugged Ben and Gwilym.

"It's okay. Please take a seat, I'll bring you some drinks," Gwilym smiled.

"All right," Belle sat next to Ben and smiled back at Gwilym.

"You look very pretty tonight," Ben complimented Belle, wondering if that was a risqué thing to do.

"Thank you," Belle replied, not bothered by Ben's remark. "I'm going out with Roger tonight, that's why I won't be staying long."

"Oh."

Gwilym was in the kitchen, with two glasses in front of him. His hands were sweating. Maybe it wasn't as grave as stealing or murdering someone but he still felt incredibly guilty, as if he was committing some type of felony. But it had to be done. Making sure nobody was seeing him, Gwilym added a colourless, odorless substance to Ben and Belle's drinks known as GHB, the drug Catherine had bought yesterday. His heart was beating too fast, and he waited for a few minutes before bringing the drinks to Ben and Belle so they wouldn't notice his shakiness.

"Guys, here are your drinks. Belle, I got you a fruity one, I know you're gonna like it," Gwilym showed Belle a transparent glass. She looked at the yellow liquid in confusion. Those got her tipsy quite fast, and she still had to see Roger after the reunion, but she didn't want to turn the drink down. She also knew she could trust Gwilym, so she took the glass and tipped it toward her lips.
