When we arrived at the lobby Brian, Freddie, Roger and Lisa were all already there. Lisa was the first one to notice us and she gave us a wave.
"Good morning! Did you sleep well?" She asked us and gave me a hug. She gave John a nice smile. I hugged her back and smiled.
"Yeah. And I assume so did you?" I asked her and winked. She giggled and playfully hit my shoulder, but the look on her face clearly said 'it was bloody amazing.'
"Alright, now that we are all here, we should probably get going. Do we want hotel breakfast something else?" Brian asked the group.
We ended up simply going for the hotel breakfast, because none of wanted to leave the building. It was raining outside and Lisa and I didn't have jackets of any kind with us. Although Roger thought that it would've been a splendid idea, because of the white t-shirt I was wearing.
The breakfast was lovely. It was a traditional English breakfast. The bacon and eggs smelled lovely, and it tasted even better. The men were bantering though out, and it was entertaining to listen to. Especially Freddie, his puns were always perfectly timed and he was so awfully quick witted. John was sat right across from me, and every now and then I would take a quick look at him. Dear God, he was precious. I swear, his smile could end famine and cure cancer. The way his skin would wrinkle a bit next to his eyes when he smiled really widely. The way his eyes shone, oh so bright. The way he would slightly bring his fingers in front of his mouth when he laughed.
I was leaning against the table with my chin in my palm, when he noticed me staring at him with a wide grin. He was in the middle of telling a story to the other ones and as locked eyes with me, he began to stutter and his cheeks began to turn pink. And so did mine.
"What? What is it?" Roger asked, rather confused, but when he noticed the we were both blushing, he thought we were onto something and let out a squeal. "What? Tell me! What are you two children doing?"
"Nothing! He just.. caught me staring." I mumbled and looked down at the half an egg on my plate. Roger looked at us with heart eyes "Beautiful!" He exclaimed and took a sip of his tea.
The rest of the breakfast went smoothly. Every now and then John and I would lock eyes and smile at each other. It was lovely. After we were finished with breakfast, it came time to say goodbye.
"It was fun meeting you darlings. Have a safe trip home!" Freddie said and hugged us both as we waited for our cab to arrive.
"It was lovely to meet you guys too. Have a splendid rest of the tour!" Lisa said and smiled widely as she hugged Roger. It was then my time to give the blonde drummer a hug. He held me really close to his face and whispered into my ear. "Say something nice to Deacy. He'd like that." I nodded even though I didn't quite understand what he meant. Then it was my time to hug the tallest man I have met in my life, Brian. He gave me a tight bear hug and a warm smile.
"It was so nice to meet you, Loretta." He said and patted my head.
"You too, Brian" I said and laughed.
Lastly, I turned to John. He was looking at me with a big smile on his face and boy, his smile was contagious. He wrapped his long arms around my back and I buried my face into his neck, his long hair tickling my face.
I assumed our embrace had lasted quite a bit longer than what one might've expected, because Brian coughed suggestively. We pulled away from each other and looked each other into each other's eyes."Bye bye John." I said quietly.
"Bye bye then." He replied with a big smile and tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear.
