GUYS WTF??? 40.3K READS????? THIS IS PURE INSANITY!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH <333

The backstage area was absolutely packed with people and I don't think you'll be surprised when I tell you I didn't know half of them. Music was blasting loud and people were laughing and drinking everywhere.

I turned to look at John and the look of confusion on his face perfectly mirrored mine.

"What the hell is going on here?" He asked the bodyguard standing by the door.

He shrugged his shoulders and shook his head. "Honestly? No idea. I heard some talk about the afterparty being held before the show because someone was leaving early. I don't know anything else. Sorry." He said and gave us an apologetic smile.

We looked at each other, immediately knowing who was behind all this. Freddie. We had wondered why he had given up so easily when John had brought up that we's miss the afterparty. Freddie had barely fought against the idea, we had thought it was just him being mature about something, but apparently not.

I gave John's hand a light squeeze and shot a smile in his direction.

"It's fine John. We'll be fine." I told him. Soon John and the other band members left the party for the final sound check and I followed suit.

I sat on one of the amps in the room. I had watched them going through sound check countless times and it felt funny that this would be the last time I get to do so in a while. Soon we would go back to our lives for a month before they would tour Europe. I smiled at the thought of being able to bicker about doing the dishes. It was the small and ordinary things that I missed. Being able to live at somewhat of a normal life.

"I can't hear my guitar in my monitor!" Brian groaned.

"Well all I can fucking hear is your fucking guitar. And it's out of fucking tune by the way." Roger shouted back.

"Well why didn't you say anything? How is the sound guy supposed to fix it if you don't fucking say anything?" Brian shouted back.

"Can the sound guy shut you two up?" Freddie said and rolled his eyes.

They kept shouting at each other for a few more minutes. Tensions were running high and everyone was already on the edge. The sound guys constantly fucking up everyone's monitors didn't exactly help it.

"You know what, fuck it. I'll just fuck it up." Brian said and tossed his guitar to the side and stormed off the stage, heading backstage. I exhanged a quick look with John and he gave me a nod. Go, he mouthed and I ran after Brian. I ran across the stage and into the same hallway he had gone into.

It didn't take me long to locate the curly haired man towering 20cm above everyone else. I poked his side with my index finger and when he turned around his expression softened a little bit.

"Oh, hi Loretta." He said and leaned his side against the wall.

"Hey Bri. You alright?" I asked him, looking into his eyes. He looked tired. That wasn't exactly surprising, they were all tired.

"Yeah, just a little bit on the edge today. I kind of just want to go home you know? Like, I'm so happy I get to do this for a living, but I just want to go home. I havn't seen my parents in ages and as much as I love you people, I need to see my other friends too." He said in a tone that clearly tried to be playful, but came out as tired.

"Oh yeah I feel you. Tensions are running a little high today. But today's the last show. Soon we all get to lay low for a month. Let's just get through this one show, okay?" I said, trying to sound as convincong as possible. "And I know that you want to be able to hear yourself on the monitors. Let's go back in there okay?" I said and placed a playful punch onto his right shoulder.
