JOHN'S POV

"Lisa? Hello? Lisa are you still there? What the hell happened?" I asked, the lump in my throat getting bigger and bigger by the second.

The last thing I had heard was Lisa calling out for Loretta and a loud thud. Then the call had been disconnected. Worry ached in my chest and I found myself calling out for her in the dead phone call.

"Fuck!" I shouted and slammed the phone back. My shouting had attracted the attention of the other people in the room and Brian got up from his seat.

"Is something wrong with Loretta?" He asked and took a step towards me.

"Well how in the hell would I know? The bloody call disconnected. The last thing I heard was a loud thud." I snapped, but immediately felt bad afterwards. I knew he was just trying to be nice. But the crippling fear of something bad having happened to her was making it impossible to appreciate his gesture.

"Sorry John. Is there anything I can do?" He asked. Now Freddie and Roger had gotten up as well and were both making their way towards me.

"I just... She didn't answer the phone when I called her earlier today. And now that I finally got a hold of her- or well Lisa, the call disconnects. I'm worried about her. It's still three days before we go back home and even then, we have so many shows left in the UK. Fucking Scotland and Ireland." Especially Ireland, I added in my head.

"But hey, at least you'll get to see her when we go back for the weekend. And then it's just two weeks in the UK. At least you'll be close to her, right? It's not like you'll be across the bloody globe." Roger said, trying to calm me down.

"I suppose you're right." I said and sighed. "I just hope she's alright."

"She's just fine darling." Freddie said and put his arm around my shoulder. "Now let's get ready to rock!"

LORETTA'S POV

The next thing I remeber is me sitting in a hospital bed. What the hell am I doing here? I wondered and soon I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"It's okay Loretta. You'll probably be feeling a little bit disoriented for a while." Lisa said. Confusion must have been very apparent on my face, because she continued.

"You fainted after you read the result of your pregnancy test. That would've been fine had you not hit your head against the doorframe when you did. You woke up pretty quickly afterwards, but I decided to take you to the doctors anyway. They did some scans of your head. You have a mild concussion, nothing major. They said you'd probably be feeling a little disoriented and nauseous for a few days." She said and let me process what she had just told me.

I didn't remember fainting, the last thing I remember before waking up here was me holding the pregnancy test in my hand. It had been positive. My hand flew over my stomach and I looked at Lisa in horror.

"Is the baby alright?" I asked and almost immediately wanted to throw up. The sentence felt so foreign in my mouth. Then it hit me. The test had been positive. I was pregnant. Oh shit. Oh shit shit shit shit shit shit shit.

"Are you going to throw up?" Lisa asked and I nodded. She quickly pulled out a bucket and I threw up in it. I'm going to be someone's mother.

"The baby is fine." She spoke as I vomited. "The doctor said that because you didn't stop breathing at any point, there's no risk for the baby. But don't worry, I forced them to check everything, and all is fine." She said and after a moment of silence she added. "You're going to be a mum."
