Go check out my Roger story, the chapter 2 is kinda meh but the 3rd one is real nice!!

"Alright, here we are." John said as we pulled up on the driveway of the house.

We had been looking for a place for us for the past few weeks and none seemed to satisfy us. There was always something we didn't quite like. It was either too big, too small, too far from everything, too in the middle of nowhere or already too crowded with paparazzi. John was a notoriously private person and hated the idea of the media knowing where he would be living, before he even lived there.

Today we were seeing yet another house, and on the first glance it seemed quite lovely. It wasn't too big, but big enough for us to live in it comfortably. We would have space for a studio for John, a writing room for me and few guestrooms. It wasn't quite as big as the house John lived in in London, but it wasn't as small as my Cambridge apartment. I

The exterior of the house was absolutely gorgeous. I had previously seen pictures of it, but it looked even more charming in real life. Red bricks paired with white detailing and window panes. The yard was very big with large old oak trees creating beautiful shadows on the ground and over the well maintained flowers all around. A tall bush fence surrounded everything, creating a nice sense of privacy.

John took my hand and kissed my cheek as we began making our way to the door where our realtor, Susan was already waiting for us.

"Mr. Deacon, Ms. Welsh." She greeted us with a polite smile. She was a small woman, probably in her mid 40s. Her long blonde hair that was always curled to perfection fell onto her shoulders, framing her face. A professional smile was plastered onto her face and she shook our hands.

"So, perhaps this will be your new dream home." She said as we stepped into the house.

"Hopefully." I said and smiled. The interior was absolutely grogeous. The dark oak floor looked amazing with the white shiplap walls and the ceiling. I ran my fingers over the boards of the wall and a wide smile spread onto my face. I was a sucker for beauitfully crafted shiplap and this was exactly that. The previous owners of the house had decided to let the paintjob wear down over time, allowing beautiful details to appear on the boards, creating a homey atmosphere.

I glanced over at John who was also looking at the walls. We had agreed on not wanting a house that was too modern. We wanted a house that had seen life. We didn't care about the little imperfections, we both agreed that they just brought character and told a story. Or at least that's what I had told him, he had just simply stared at me with so much love in his eyes and agreed to everything I said. "I'd be happy living in a ditch if that were what you wanted."

The lady led us deeper into the house and the more I saw of it, the deeper I fell in love with everything about it. The kitchen was beautiful with large windows to the backyard.

"As you can see, the back yard is very beautiful and spacious, lots of room for children to play. And you can easily supervise them from the kitchen since the windows are so beautifully wide." Susan said with a smile before continuing towards the living room. I followed suit but turned around when John didn't follow us.

He stood in the kitchen, right next to the fridge and stared out of the window. He was smiling lika little boy when I walked back to him and wrapped my arms around him from behind.

"What is it?" I asked him and he let out a sigh, the smile never fading even a little bit. He turned around and hugged me, still looking through the window.

"It's nothing. I was just... thinking about what kind of a swingset would look good in the backyard." He said as his face turned bright red. I put my hands on his cheeks and kissed him.
