As I woke up, I quickly became aware of someone's naked skin pressed against my own. I looked to the side and saw Haven sleeping there, her body pressed against mine and using my chest as her pillow. Her arm was thrown across my torso and one of her legs had found its way to rest in between mine.
As I looked back up at the ceiling, I couldn't help but smile at the memories of last night.
Holy shit, I made love to her.
I made love to her for the first time in seven years.
I had sex for the first time in seven years and it was with her.
I know it was idiotic to punch that Marc kid but something good did come out of it.
I heard Haven shift and sigh. I softly moved her hair off of her face and she blinked the blurriness out of her eyes. She looked up at me and smiled softly.
"So, last night really happened?" She mumbled, laying her head down on my shoulder instead of my chest.
"Last night really happened," I confirmed.
"I thought I was having a really hot dream."
I laughed before asking, "How are you feeling?"
"Really good."
"Haven, does it hurt?"
She scoffed out, "Of course it hurts. I'm just not complaining."
"Hold on," I said as I slid out from under her.
"Where are you going?" She asked, rolling to look at me.
"I'll be right back," I said as I headed into the bathroom.
I started up the shower on hot before returning to the bedroom. I picked her up bridal style and she yelped as I began to carry her back to the bathroom. I helped her into the shower, and we spent a good fifteen minutes in the shower, just showering and not doing anything sexual.
