Chapter Nine

"Kaname enough." You tell him and he looks down at you, sighing.

"Takuma, I entrust her to you but if you hurt her I will kill you." Kaname told him and the seriousness of his tone shook you to the very core. It was like another Kaname altogether.

"Thank you Kaname, I ensure you that she is in good hands." Takuma told him and smiled at you and then kissed the side Yuukis head, after putting his arm around her. You felt so happy. Your little sister had found a guy who truly cherished her. She deserved the happiness that Takuma gave to her.

You were overwhelmed with the happiness you were feeling, Kaname had felt it and smiled a little. You felt Kanames hand move from your hand to your head where he started patting your head lightly. You looked up at him to see he was already looking at you. You smiled brightly at him and it made him smile a bit more before speaking lightly to you, "Does this mean I am forgiven from this mornings drama?"

You pouted at the way he put it, he made it seem like you were overreacting. He chuckled and you answered his question, "Yes you're forgiven. Are we joining the night class?" You asked once again.

"We'll have to wait and see." He chuckled and you sighed. You started coming down from your happiness high.

You weren't sure what Kaname had up his sleeve. He was either going to tell the headmaster that you weren't coming back or you were. It made you feel uneasy because of how badly you wanted to join the night class.

Soon enough the car started coming to a stop as you had arrived at the academy. You all got out of the car and headed up the stairs. You noticed that Takuma and Yuuki were now holding hands in public now that Kaname had approved of it. Or at least allowed it for now...

You walked onto the grounds and Kaname had snaked his arm around your waist. You wondered why the sudden action, then the reason ended up at the side of you. Zero was at the side of you with his gun pointing out at you all. You squeaked shocked at this and Zero then realised it was you. He put the bloody rose away and nodded towards you. He was just doing his duty as a guardian, he sensed vampires and he came to check it out. It made sense. You smiled at him.

"Sorry I scared you, Elissa. You too Yuuki." Zero apologised and you hadn't even realised he had scared Yuuki. It wasn't until you looked over at her and saw her behind Takuma as he clutched his sword about ready to draw it any second. You smiled a little at it, it was very cute how protective Takuma looked to be of her.

"Takuma, it's fine. You don't need to draw your weapon." Kaname told Takuma and his hand came off his sword and he relaxed a little. He turned to check Yuuki was okay and you smiled. You adored how cute they were and it made you happy that Yuuki was finally happy with someone.

"Zero, it's nice to see you again." You tell him smiling. He started to walk closer to you and pulled you from Kanames grasp to hug you. You felt his hand on the back of your head and his other arm around your waist. You knew this hug, something had either happened to him or he had heard someone threaten you. You hugged him back, burying your face into his shoulder.

"We need to talk later." He whispered to you and you whispered an okay back to him. You wondered what about but didn't let it take over your thoughts. Soon enough Kaname ripped him from you and glared him down where Zero just returned the glare back to him. You sighed and stepped in between them.

"Even if we do come back here how are we going to talk to each other if you two won't play nicely?" You asked them catching them off guard and they both looked away from each other and from you.

"Let's go to the office Elissa." Kaname told you and you smiled a little. You were looking forward to seeing your father.

You turned to Zero and said, "I'll catch up with you later, okay?" You smiled at him and Zero started smiling too.
