Burke shoves me to the ground and Brett kicks Freddy as he falls to the ground.

"Y/N!! FREDDY!"

The two boys laugh, high fiving before walking into the school. 

Darla and Pedro run over to me as Mary and Eugene run over to Freddy.

I groan, rubbing the back of my head. Freddy grumbles, trying to grab his stick.

"They'll get in trouble for that. I'll show them! They don't know who they're dealing with."

"Save your breath, Freddy." I sigh. He turns to me and frowns as Mary helps him to his feet.

"They smell like butt cheese." Darla whines.

"They sound like annoying sore losers from Roblox." Eugene scoffs.

"OOF-"

"Don't you want to show them!? To not let them pick on us anymore!?"

"I don't think you can do anything." Mary says.

"Yeah. I want them to stop bullying my brother and friend! But you can't really stop them!" Darla whines.

"I know." Freddy sighs. "Also, Y/n. I have to tell you something later."

"We were going to tell you together but Freddy wanted to tell you himself." Eugene says.

"Okay, at break?" I ask.

Freddy nods. "Yeah! We'll see you guys later!" Freddy says.

"Bye, Freddy! Bye, Y/n!"

Me and Freddy say goodbye to his family as we head off to our first class of the day. Eugene skrrts off first out of sight from us.

I head toward the cafeteria, held back a bit from class. I push through the door and look around. I see Freddy, eating his food all alone. Kind of sad.

I begin to walk to him and flash a smile at him. He sees this and his eyes light up. "I thought you weren't coming."

"The only time I'm not coming is if I'm held back or I'm crying in the bathroom." He laughs at me and I laugh with him. Crying in the bathroom has only happened once, which he liked to tease me about once it was old news and harmless.

"So bro." I grin. He scolds me. "You are so weird."

"Weirder than Cyborg?"

"He's not well known! And yeah! You are!" Freddy exclaims with a smile on his face.

"So, Freddy." I announce. "What did you want to tell me?"

He stops eating and then turns to me deviously.

"Well uh. You know how there's already five of us in the foster home?"

"Oh, God."

"Yeah. There's a new boy coming tonight." He states.

"What's his name?" I ask, interested in the topic.

"I uh...don't actually know his name yet. Neither do the others except for Rosa and Victor. But they didn't tell us yet, said they wanted it to be a surprise."

"Spolier Free."

"They don't like to give us Spoliers."

"Said the guy who spoiled what happened to Superman because of the bullet!" I scoff.

"THAT WAS ONE TIME!" He yells with a wide grin on his face.

We both burst into laughter, not caring about the looks of disgust and shame that are shot our way.
