I gave five dollars to Pedro and he kept silent about it the whole trip to the Ice skating rink. To not be obvious, I sat beside Freddy and Mary and Billy sat beside Eugene and Pedro. Rosa had to attend to Maya which she didn't mind at all so Victor let Darla sit in the front. But my heart and mind can't stop thinking about the kissing.

I miss his lips...I never knew how much I wanted that and he's even my first kiss. Wow. I really, really like you, Billy Batson.

I glance back at him and he blushes, glancing down at me.

What came over us? What came over us like that?

I glance at Freddy who flashes me a smile so I give him one right back. Victor sings some music as Darla and Mary kick into it. I am the only girl among the boys who don't sing.

Eventually, the car stops and I glance out the window.

"We're here kids! Let's go!"

Freddy gets out the door and helps me out then we help Eugene, Pedro, and Billy out. I blush as he takes my hand and I pull him out the car. He blushes as well and tries hide the crack of a smile on his lips which I see.

"I'm so excited to go ice skating with my brothers and sisters!" Darla squeaks.

"It'll be a lot of fun I bet." Billy says walking beside her. She and Eugene seem to be the most energetic for this and Billy and Pedro are the most chill.

"I hope I won't be on my own." Freddy's voice is quite quiet when he says this almost silent. I nudge him and he looks up.

"You won't be. I'll give you company."

"So will I." Billy smiles at him.

"We all will. I'll even give it a shot kiddo." Victor says.

"YAAY!"

We make it inside and it's already a bit chilly so I pull on my fuzzy coat as Billy puts on his winter fur jacket and Freddy has his winter blue coat. We hire some skates and a skating frame before trying on our shoes. Darla is the first one out, quickly followed by Mary and Eugene. Darla has a frame and Eugene is flying solo with confidence. Mary is skilled, going left and right to spinning around. Pedro is the next so he traces along the outside.

"Can you two wait for me?" Freddy asks, leaving his stick to the side and grabs a hold of the frame.

"Yeah sure." I grin, pulling on a shoe.

Freddy gives me a thankful look and moves his frame onto the ice. Me and Billy get onto the ice behind him, suddenly feeling very easy to fall. I take a hold of the wall for a moment to help me stand up a bit.

"Okay, I'm gonna go in the middle and find Darla or Mary. You two can circle around for a bit if you'd like to get used to the ice." Freddy tells us before skating off to the middle.

For a little bit, I decide to skate forward, my hand on the wall to steady myself as Billy skates on the rim of the ice skating rink beside me. He seems to be alright at it, steadying himself enough to skate beside me.
