Aurora Borealis ? Billy Batson x Reader

I managed to sneak into my house that one night with the help of Billy but it still hurts kind of knowing that Maya is back at their place as she'll never return here. I need to make light of it though. She's going to be okay. She's in safer hands and with so many other people who love her instead of only me.

I hear my phone buzzing and I pull the sheets off my face. It's like...five in the bloody morning! And IT'S MOOONDDAAAAAAAY!

I pick it up from the ground and turn it over. It's a Private Number? Suspiciously, I press the green button and put my phone to my ear.

"...Hello..?"

"Kid."

It's the guy! From that superhero store!

"Yo! What's up?" I ask sitting up straight.

"I've got your superhero suit done and dusted. I've worked really hard on it. It doesn't take damage to fire or water and it's difficult to rip. The boots have a very expensive mechanism that'll help you jump up and boost high and the helmet is the same style as a motorcycle helmet. Grey metal helmet that is very strong and sturdy against heavy damage but it can dent if applied with strong pressure so be careful. The visor is thick glass because if it was plastic, it would break. The least it can do is crack with heavy damage but as soon as it starts cracking, put the visor away to avoid it breaking in your eyes. To mark your shadow darkness power, there is an infinity symbol in magenta purple galaxy design on your chest and in the back will make it easier for your wings to come through and spread out."

Holy crap. He went all out on this outfit. He did a good number on it. I'm going to have a superhero outfit today!

Question is..."Why are you telling me this five in the morning?"

"Because I won't be there when you pick it up. It'll be in a silver suitcase and I know this sounds like a setup. But the Sivana building was attacked by someone very evil and I feel like you and your super friend are going to have to be the heroes of the city, very, very soon. I don't want whoever this villain is, to see me exchanging things with you. He could be suspicious."

"Got it. When do I pick it up?" I ask softly.

"Go there in an hour. I'll send you the address."

"Thanks again, man. It really means a lot to me." I sigh in relief.

"No problem kid. See ya round."

The phone hangs up and I bring it down beside me. Holy crap. This is totally happening. A dark suit for a superhero with arm braces and a galactic symbol? That'll be a different twist for a superhero.

I quickly jump up out of bed and go to the shower. I have a five-minute shower before climbing out and drying myself down. I throw on a f/c shirt, black jumper, the fuzzy jacket with a fluffy hood, skinny jeans, thick socks, combat boots, fingerless gloves, and a beanie. I throw on a massive backpack and stuff the storage pack and arm pieces inside before peering out my bedroom door.

The coast is clear.

I sneak my way out of the room and try to make a quick pace downstairs.

"Just where do you think you're going?"

Shit.

I turn to my Father as he has his arms crossed with a bottle of beer in his hands. I really don't have time to deal with him. But Mom...she's sitting on the couch. Her eyes begging for an answer. I feel my eyes fill with sorrow.

She may not be my real Mom but I feel so bad for her. I love her. She raised me. Even if she's a broken person now.

"I was at Mary's place. I came home late last night."
