~15~ A New Relationship

"So..." He begins.

"I'm gonna be completely honest with you. I have no idea what came over me." I huff. "I have no clue why I got the idea to kiss you."

"W-well, I r-really like you." He skates beside me. I feel the heat rise to my face as my heart pounds.

"I l-like you too, Billy. I really do."

I see him smile at me which he smiles back.

"But what would the others say about this? Pedro is trustworthy but would Freddy react nicely? A-And the way we did kiss... It seems like we got caught in the moment."

He listens cautiously to what I say and nods his head assertively.

"We'll keep this between me and you for now. If that makes you feel any better and I don't really feel like telling them all anyway." He shrugs as we skate together. "But whatever doubts you have..." I blush as I feel his hand graze upon my own. "I wanna be here for you. You're the one girl that I...really, really like."

I smile up at him as he smiles back. There is so much generosity in his eyes, so warm and kind and fuzzy.

"Gay." Pedro zips by which catches us both off guard.

"What!" I laugh. I quickly zip after him, Billy following close behind.

We skate one foot in front of the other as and Billy chase Pedro on the ice, it I let out an irritated huff the minute I know we won't catch him.

I turn my head around and look around, soon noticing Freddy in the middle. I smirk, then race over to him.

He sees me at the last second and squeals. I laugh and grab his frame, spinning around as both of us struggle to stand up straight on the ice.

"That was intense." Freddy tells me.

"Want it to get more intense?"

"No, no, no, no..."

I begin to skate backward as Freddy holds on for dear life. He lets out a playful scream as I laugh, speeding up on the skating rink.

"Y/N! WhErE aRe YoU tAkInG mE?!"

I laugh as I skate from side to side as I pull him back. He just goes with it and trusts me as I spin around and go back to the center. With one movement, I let go of the frame and skate to the side, seeing Billy grab a hold of the frame.

"Oh, no."

Billy starts taking him elsewhere as I decide to go off the skating rink and into the small cafeteria.

I let out a sigh of relief as it's much warmer in here, seeing Mary in the corner with a hot chocolate. She smiles and waves me over which I walk in her direction.

"Hey, Mary!" I grin happily.

"Hey, sit down, Y/n. Good to have some company!" She grins.

I smile and sit down beside her. "Did you just want to chill from the ice?" I ask her.

"Yeah, and I wanted a hot chocolate, are you gonna get anything?" She asks me.

"Maybe not right now." I shake my head.

"Okay, then may I ask you a question?" She asks curiously.

"Yeah, go ahead." 

"Okay."

She stalls and takes a sip from her drink. I take this as a bit suspicious but I see her smirk. She puts down the cup of hot chocolate, then turns to me.
