I stop in my tracks then and there and look at her. Holy shit, she's looking really pale. She looks like a ghost! Maybe I should do this on my own.

"Why are you feeling ill?" I ask her.

"I don't know." She shrugs. "I think it's the dark element. First I throw up at work that one day, then I have blackouts and I'm...feeling dizzy I don't know if I can do thi-"

She stumbles back a bit and I quickly grab her arms and pull her back up which she collapses into me. My heart pounds loudly in my ears. Don't panic, don't panic. Shit, what do I do?

"Okay, try to stand up for me."

She nods her head and shivers coldly, before standing up on her feet.

"Jeez, this is getting worse." I sigh, wrapping my arms around her. I see Freddy just watching from afar. Then he sinks his head in defeat and proceeds up the stairs. I sigh, resting my head on hers.

"What will help you feel better?" I ask her.

"Positive energy?"

Of course! She's been surrounded by so much negative mental, emotional and physical energy as well as probably getting scared or stressed, that this darkness element drains her with the help of that.

"Okay, you can be my assistant today and we can go to the city." I say softly to her. "I'll go and quickly get you a bottle of water and some panadol then we can go and grab Maya because it's been a couple of days."

"You don't have to do that, Billy." She sighs.

I smile, lifting her chin up. "Well, I will. I'll help you control the element of darkness as well, because you'll help me today. Fair play."

"Your face is fair play."

"What?"

"What?"

We both dissolve into a fit of giggles and I continue walking with her again.

"Oh, Billy. I wanted to show you and Freddy something later, I wanna surprise you but I don't know if I should show Freddy. I think he's annoyed about yesterday."

"Yesterday wasn't your fault, come on." I nudge my nose against her cheek and she turns her face to me which I give her a peck on the lips. She whines and I laugh as she covers her face in embarrassment.

"I've kissed you before!"

"CoOoOoOotTtTtIiEeEs!"

"Y/n, I have KISSED YOU ON THE LIPS before!"

As big version of me, I smile widely with a thumbs up, or a side piece sign.

"All right!"

I try to say something to them as they walk away. I pout childishly. "Ya know, people typically give me money, you know..."

I hear Y/n laugh in the distance, leaning up against the tree with a big smile. Maya barks lightly, as if saying shame.

She's looking a whole lot better...

"You're a sweet couple, you guys have a good day."

"Hey, is that Mary?" Y/n asks walking over to me. Maya makes a confused dog noise and cocks her head to the side. Hmm?

I see Mary walking along the road, but my glance shifts to see a big truck speeding right for her. And this truck probably can't even see her. My eyes widen.

"MARY!!" Y/n screams. I quickly make my move, adrenaline running through my veins and race across the road, bringing her to safety.
