(A/N My god, I do not feel like writing today! Yesterday was so fun! I was actually having so much fun writing, but I probably should have milked a couple more words out of my prompts yesterday because I'm just so uninspired to write today! I've been procrastination for like an hour and a half and I just... ughhh I do NOT want to write! If you can't tell, I am trying to milk every single word I can and I am trying to limit my usage of contraction to add a bunch of useless words in this author's note. Sorry, I just don't feel like writing and even this beautiful problematic ship can't help me because I do not know what to do! I do not know how to actually make the story evolve into a more romance and fluff!? I mean, I feel like I've been trying to milk this beginning Author's Note just a little too much so I should probably just start writing... Okay, I'll start writing and I'm sorry if you like Rhack but I probably won't do the ship justice right now...)
Rhys had finally finished his day of work, and had been working until late in the evening. Hugo had gotten on his nerves again but at least he got through the day without exploding in front of any coworkers. Yvette had invited Rhys to go to a bar with her to wind down but of course he declined, he still had work tomorrow and didn't want to get drunk. (A/N Seriously, I have been sitting at my computer procrastinating and it has now been an entire hour since I wrote that Author's Note... I do not want to write for the life of me) Instead, Rhys went home by himself to deal with any extra paperwork he didn't get through at work. He managed to stay up until midnight before crashing.
Rhys woke up early like he normally did even though he didn't have an alarm, he thought it funny that his body would wake up at this time even when he was exhausted out of his mind. He tried to finish his work in the small amount of time he had before he had to get ready for work, but his mind was so foggy and delirious that it kept getting sidetracked and he couldn't work on anything no matter how hard he tried. He decided to call in sick from work since he couldn't even focus on anything, even though he knew that it would be a mistake later because Hugo was just like that sometimes. (A/N sorry for another author's note but I'm sorry Hugo! I really do love you and your stupid voice but I just kind of made you even more of a jerk than you are in the game lol sorry again Hugo, I really do love you <3)
"Hey, I don't think I'm going to be able to go to work today..." Rhys talked on the phone, trying to keep the exhaustion out of his voice, "What do you mean Rhys? Who the hell is going to do your work?" Hugo had to make such a big deal out of some things, "I don't know, I know it's late notice but I'm just really sick because I had to stay up to do all that work you saddled me with yesterday..." "I see how it is Strongfork, you're just lazy and want an excuse to skip work today." "No, it's not like that! Look, I have a fever and everything! I'm actually sick!" "Yeah, send me a picture and prove it before you try to make an excuse!" Rhys sighed, of course he was lying about the fever and sickness, but he wasn't going to go to work when he couldn't think straight, "Fine, just give me a moment and I'll text it okay?" He hung up before Hugo could answer and immediately stumbled over to his kitchen.
Rhys grabbed a small washcloth and ran the sink until the water was steaming hot before running the rag under it. The bleary man grabbed a thermometer and wrapped the hot washcloth around it until the thermometer beeped with a 105 degrees flashing on the little screen. He unwrapped the washcloth and took a picture of the 105 degrees, sending the picture to Hugo. The message stayed at read for a while until Hugo finally texted Fine, but you better be here tomorrow Strongfork! Rhys cheered a little. Hugo must've either been very hesitant to let Rhys go, or trying to scan the picture for any mistakes, he must have had none. He wondered what he should do now that he got the day off and decided to help himself to that coffee shop he was at yesterday, maybe it would help him clear his head; if not, he could always just sit at home without a care about the work that was piling up for him in his office.

FanfictionHey so uh, this is literally a multi-fandom oneshots book but I also might just write story prompts on here. This is for NaNoWriMo but I'll probably still write on here after it's over. (I wanted a calm month for this year)
