(A/N I just woke up, I'm not gonna spend too much time on an introduction though :L It's 2 pm and I want to play some slime rancher so yeah. Honestly I don't fel like writing much so I might not even get to 2000 words today, maybe I will try to write like 1000 words right now and 1000 words later? I am not too sure myself but anyways, I slept for like 10 hours jeez I'm unhealthy lol XD Okay let's get into the prompt stuff I hope you enjoy! <3 )

Prompt - You and your friends download an app that tells you how old you will be when you meet your soulmate. Theirs say things like 25 or 30, but yours says 500. You all have a laugh, brush it off, and it becomes a memory. 10 years later, you notice you haven't aged at all.

You remember a time maybe 10 years ago, you and your friends were freshman in high school, and you had a sleepover. Like any teen sleepover, you guys told jokes, messed around, and talked about idiotic things. One of you downloaded an obviously fake app that could tell when you would meet your soulmate and all your friends had a good laugh when they saw the random number generator with ages like 25 or 30. Then you placed your finger on it and it said 500, you all laughed saying that they must've broke it. Now you think it might have been right.

Nowadays, your life is a struggle sometimes because you still look like a 13 year old. Your friends joke about it a lot, whenever you were looking for a job you had to prove that you were actually an adult, same with going out to clubs or bars ever. It seemed like you hadn't grown at all since then, or maybe you had stopped growing even before that and just never thought about it? It was crazy though, to think you might be immortal just because of a stupid app and the fact that you stopped growing. But, the app hasn't been wrong yet; two of your friends had married someone they met at the age the app said they would.

You mulled it over for a long while, just standing in the streets, but really standing in the maze of your own mind. You finally snapped yourself out of it, they were just coincidences; obviously no one could be immortal, you just stopped growing earlier than most. You tried to push the memory of that bogus app away from your mind but it would just keep coming back.

Another 5 years pass, you are 29 years old, you still haven't aged and you face the memory again. It's starting to get creepy, a 29 year old in a young teenager's body. You start to think about how you might actually be immortal like the app said. Another 3 of your old friends from that day had 'met their soulmates' all on the ages the app had said they would.

You were visiting your parents house, they were both normal and had aged like any normal human would, they like to brag about their 'daughter with infinite youth'. It's just strange to think that you were somehow immortal even no one in your life was like that, but you can't ignore blatant facts forever like how you haven't seemed to age a day for a long time.

You pondered going to a doctor for a moment but quickly threw the thought away; yes, they could answer the question, but at what cost? You'd most likely get tested on or something like that if they found out that you hadn't aged since you were like 12! So, you decided you would stay in the dark about if you were immortal or not until the day you're supposed to die.

Dating was never something you ever really wanted much, and it's something that's really hard to do for you anyways. You attract the... bad kinds of people... so you never try to date because of your odd looks. I mean, who in their right mind would date someone who looked like you? Someone who looked like a teenager.

There is one good thing that has come from this; by spending all your time at one bar whenever you wanted to go to one, the bartender now remembers you and doesn't ask for your ID every single time you go there. That's nice, and also sad if you think about it.

You go through your life as normally as you possibly can, you drive to work while trying not to get pulled over just because you look like a kid, you work and talk with your coworkers who are just as weird-ed out as you are by your looks, you drive home or to a friend's house or anywhere you want to go to for the rest of the day, again trying not to get pulled over for looking like a child.

Years and years and years go by without much change to your body at all, you finally work up the courage to talk to your parents about it. Your parents don't give you an answer you like, they told you that your mother was in fact like you. It at least gave you confirmation that you were immortal. They told you that your mother was immortal until she met her soulmate, your father, then she started to age like normal. Now she's like a normal human. They don't know why, but it must be part of their family because your mother told you that she asked her mother the same thing with the same answer, the immortal thing went for as far as your great grandmother. It was crazy to think that only four of your family's generations had lasted over hundreds of years, at least your mother said that it did.

It gave you a little reassurance though, finally knowing that you were in fact immortal, knowing that once you meet your soulmate then it would stop and you would live out your life like a normal person.

After finding that out, you stayed to care for your parents who gave you this secret, you did college again to get a higher-paying job so that you could support people, and knowing that you were going to be on the Earth for a while, you took up as many odd-jobs and skills as you possibly could.

(A/N Wowwww I don't know what that was and I don't think I like it that much lol. :l Especially not when I think about the messed up implications of an immortal person finding their soulmate and then growing old with them... but I didn't really know what to do so I'm sorry >~<" Anyways, I hated this flipping chapter and what the fudge 抖阴社区 is broken! It says that there's only 111 words Oh my god am I really going to have to use a flipping word counter, that's stupid :l Okay, well I am not going to take too much time because I am absolutely done with writing and god I just want NaNo to be over I just... it is fun, but it gets annoying sometimes just saying... Okay, well I hope you enjoyed this cluster f, dumpster fire of a chapter, I hope you have a good day or night or whatever and I wish you good luck on your own NaNo if you are foing one yourself <3 Bai! <3 )
