Demi: I always liked him since we met...he was like a rockstar and I liked him very very much

Alena: but you broke up, why?

Demi: ummm, we had different interests...our lives were going in different directions

Valentina: you never kissed uncle Nick? (I saw Demi blushing a bit and I chuckled)

Demi: nope, never

Alena: is he ugly for you? (She laughed)

Nick: I probably am

Demi: no, he's not...he's very handsome but we've always been just best friends and he dated my former best friends too so it would've been weird for everyone

Alena: you look like a couple sometimes

Nick: Alena...(she giggled and Demi shook her head)

Demi: oh no, don't worry Nick. Yea, some people has told us that...but we're...just friends (she said looking to the floor)

Nick: you finished the desert girls?

Alena: yea...Valentina is almost sleeping

Nick: I'm gonna take her to her room here

Demi: I can do it, tell me where is it and you can take Alena to bed since she's not sleeping already

Nick: sure? (She nodded and picked Valentina up) it's the first bedroom on the right side of the stairs. It also says "Valentina" on the door.

Demi: okay (I saw her entering to the room and took Alena to her bedroom)

Alena: uncle Nick (she said already in bed) Demi is very beautiful

Nick: yes

Alena: and very kind and funny

Nick: I know

Alena: she also sings very very amazing

Nick: I told you so (she nodded and grabbed my hand)

Alena: why don't you date her? (I laughed)

Nick: well...Alena...

DEMI P.O.V.: after I left Valentina in her bed and kissed her forehead I was walking downstairs when I heard laughs from near. I walked to Alena's bedroom and stood close to the door watching them. It hurt to see Nick like that...like what I'd want my future to be.

Nick: well...Alena...sometimes it's not enough with liking someone, or loving...it has to be from both persons. You know?

Alena: yea, I just wish you did...she's an angel

Nick: I know...I've known that since we met...and that's plenty of time (she nodded and he kissed her forehead) sleep now, crazy princess

Alena: okay...I will

Nick: I love you

Alena: I love you more (he stood up and I walked downstairs faster than him)

When he got out of the house I was already on the grass eating what we left of the desert. He sat next to me and ate looking at the pool like I was doing.

Nick: so?

Demi: what?

Nick: anything to say?

Demi: no..not at all (he nodded)

Nick: I had a great time with you and them today...an unexpected great time (I nodded bitting my lip)

Demi: me too (we stood some seconds in silence) Nick...I'm sorry if it was awkward having me talking about Joe and I or...even you and I

Nick: it wasn't awkward...at all. And sorry for Alena, she can be a little crazy sometimes (I chuckled)

Demi: it wasn't a problem for me...it was a good question she did actually

Nick: which one?

Demi: it may sounds creepy and weird but I thought about it and...(I looked at him) why didn't we ever kiss?

Nick: umm I think we never thought of each other in that way...well until-

Demi: yea (we both nodded and I smiled at him) well, maybe our friendship wasn't always good cause we never kissed like a lot of friends do (he bit his lip smiling)

Nick: no

Demi: no what?

Nick: you wouldn't want me to kiss you

Demi: why not? You're already assuming it and you don't know

Nick: I do know...I've kissed people before that has said things like...about...my teeth or something

Demi: well, if they did, then they didn't know how to kiss...tooth have nothing to do with it (he chuckled) I bet it's not that bad

Nick: why don't you try it then?

Demi: whenever Nick, is just a kiss (he looked at me)

Nick: you sure of what you're saying?
