Falling in Love with a Irken (Invader Zim X Reader)

Knocking on the door, you wait patiently as you wait for Zim to answer the door. Getting all giddy about the whole thing, you hide your PAK with the sweater you brought.

"Hello Y/N -" Zim opens the door and stops talking when he sees you. "Y-You look really good h-human." He starts blushing at seeing the dress on you. You just smile.

"May I come in?" He nods and you follow him into the living room. "Wow, this is the first time I have been inside your house!" You look around. It definitely looks weird. The couch is oversized, a toilet is in the kitchen? ok.

"Yes, Zim doesn't typically let HUMANS in his base." He grabs your hand lightly. "But Zim thinks you are an exception."

"Awe Zim, you are so cute!" You squeeze his hand lightly. "So, where are you planning on taking me tonight?" You are so curious the what he is planning.

"Ah! Yes, Zim actually has special plans for you. COMPUTER!!" He yells at the end.

"WHATTTT?" His computer doesn't seem that happy to respond to his master.

"Take Y/N and I to the Attic." You look to him. Why the attic? Is he planning on kidnapping me? Out of nowhere you feel the floor under you raise.

"Your computer system is quite similar to mine. Also, why are we going to the attic?" He just smiles and points upwards.

" BECAUSE! The Voot Cruiser is there!" You are confused.

"Whats a Voot Cruiser?" As you ask him to clarify you arrive to Zim's attic. YOU SEE A SPACESHIP!

"Oh My God! You have a space ship?!" You almost yell out.

"Of Course! That is Zim's Amazing Voot Carrier!" He smiles and motions you to get closer. "Zim plans on showing you around space!" He is getting excited. He has never travelled with another living creature before. Especially with someone he likes. The closest thing is GIR, but he isn't alive and causes Zim some serious head trauma. He looks to you and sees that you are clearly freaking out.

"Actually?!?! We are going to outer space? I've never been able to freely travel before! I'm so excited!" You smile towards him. He walks over to the cruiser and opens the large window. Getting in he turns it on and starts warming it up.

"Come on Y/N. Let Zim expand your tiny pathetic human brain!" He holds his hand out. Grabbing it with no hesitation he helps you get in. Sitting down next to him you see Irken symbols everywhere. You can't read a single thing.

"Are you going to take off your disguise?" You look to him.

"Only if you want Zim too." He waits for your answer.

"Well I love seeing you without your disguise, but whatever you are comfortable with." He smiles to himself and you see his PAK open up. He takes off his wig and contacts and stuff it in his PAK.

You lean over to him and kiss his cheek. His face gets red/purple. "Would you ever teach me Irken? I would love to talk and write in your language." It's true. You would love to hear him speak his native tongue, and speaking it yourself has always been a goal.

"Zim wouldn't mind teaching you Irken. It isn't too difficult. The language is more written. Irken is actually close to English but far more superior." He clicks some buttons. "Get ready! I'm going to take us out of the atmosphere!" You focus on what he is pressing and trying to learn what he is doing. Then, almost out of the blue the ceiling opens and out you two go. The sudden movement scared you and you grab his arm rather tightly. Zim looks over to you and smiles. Looking back at the controls he moves the ship out of the atmosphere. He turns the ship around to show you a clear view of Earth.
