Astro Boy (OC insert)

Third POV

President stone and General Heckler were flying in one of the air crafts.

"How can my approval ratings be this low? I was very popular in high school. I've cut taxes for a lot of very influential friends. What more do people want?" President Stone asks himself.

" We're tracking an unidentified object flying over Metro City, sir." General Heckler says to President Stone.

"The surface dwellers are firing at us? This is what I've been waiting for! Declare war on them! This is going to get me re-elected." President Stone to General Heckler.

"This didn't come from the Surface, sir." A soldier says.

"It's my opponent. He's taken the gloves off. He's playing hardball." President Stone says to himself.

"It's Blue Core energy, sir." The soldier says to President Stone.

"What?! Elefun told me the Blue Core was destroyed. Get me a location and mobilize all units! I want that thing now!" President Stone orders to all of his soldiers.

Val's POV

Me and Toby see the house and fly towards it.

We see our dad talking with Dr. Elefun.

We land on the balcony and listen to what they are saying.

"I got here as fast as I could. Where is he? Where's Toby?" Dr. Elefun asks our dad. 

"I sent him to his room. Please, just deactivate him and take him away. I can't bear to see his face again." Our dad says in disappointment.

Me and Toby gasp before we glance at each other and look back at the scene in front of us.

"Come on, Tenma. You can't just throw him away like a piece of junk." Dr Elefun says, trying to reason with our dad.

"Dad?" Toby asks.

This got everyone's attention as they look at Toby's dircetion.

"What's going on? Why are you talking about me like this?" Toby asks as he walks towards our dad.

"Toby, there's been a bit of a misunderstanding. You're not actually an entirely ordinary boy." Dr. Elefun tells Toby.

"I know. Dad, I can fly. I can drill my way through solid rock. It's amazing." Toby says to our dad in excitement.

"How did I think this could work?" Dad asks with anger in his voice.

"what's wrong with me? Why don't you love me anymore?" Toby asks in sadness.

"He's programmed with the memories of your own son, Tenma. Doesn't that mean anything to you?" Dr. Elefun asks our dad.

"Programmed?" Toby asks in confusion.

Toby turns to look at me.

I just nod in sadness, signalling that he is programmed.

"But he isn't my son." Our dad answers.

"Dad." Toby says in disbelief.

"I'm not your dad. You're not Toby. You're a copy of Toby. Not my son, a robot, and I... don't want you... anymore." Our- I mean, My dad says to Toby sadly.

"No! No!" Toby says heartbroken before running towards the balcony.

Dr. Elefun stops Toby by saying, "Toby, wait! I can't see into the future, but I'm sure there's a place for you. We just have to find it."

"He's my father. This is my home. It's all I know." Toby says sadly.

"Everyone has their destiny, Toby." Dr. Elefun says.

"Didn't you hear him? I'm not Toby." Toby says before flying off the balcony.

I start to follow Toby but my dad says, "Val, where are you going?"

"I'm going with Toby." I say with no emotion.

"Why? He's not Toby." Dad says to me.

"Because I can't lose him again." I say before flying out of the building.

I finally catch up with Toby and we fly away from our house.
