"He's been one of my best friends for a long time, and if we're not friends now...or as close as we were...that means nothing to me. I'm still on his side, and I'll always be." She hugged me again and I glance into the room where Joe was standing still by his baby's cradle. "He hasn't sleep yet...ever since everything happened."
"So, he's been awake for three days?" I asked in disbelief and they nodded. "We should tell him to go home rest."
"He won't leave." Paul said and I bit my lip.
"I'll try to get him to go." They nodded and I shrugged. "You should go rest too, he needs you strong."
"We don't want to leave him alone." He said. "Or the baby."
"I'll stay here tonight, I've been sleeping all the afternoon so I'm not sleepy at all." They frowned.
"Are you sure sweetie?" Denise asked and I nodded.
"Yes, don't worry. I'll stay with Joe or...with the baby." They nodded.
"Paul?" She asked and he shrugged.
"She won't let anything bad happen to neither of them." I smiled slightly and they did too.
"Okay." She said and they greeted me before leaving.
After they left, I waited outside until the nurse changed and my friend arrived. She smiled at me and nodded.
"You're in your lucky day, I'll be covering one of my best friends so you can stay til 9 am." I smiled at her.
"That's awesome, cause I'll have to stay with the baby probably...if I get him to go home and rest a bit." She nodded and shrugged.
"You can come in."
"Thanks." I told her and entered the room causing Joe to turn around and glance at me briefly.
"Hey." I whispered to him and he small smiled to me. "How are you?"
"Well...I could be better, but I'll be fine." He said in a whisper and I stood by his side.
"Joe, I think you should go rest. You've been up for three days." He shook his head.
"I can't leave her alone." He said and I glanced at the baby.
"I can stay with her...I won't leave anyways if you stay but...I think you should rest and be strong for her. She needs you to be strong Joe." I said and he looked at me with unsure eyes. "I promise I won't let anything bad happen to her."
"I don't know." He sais and the nurse entered the room.
"Mr. Jonas, I need you to tell me her name. We've been waiting for two days, she needs a name." She said to Joe and he pressed his lips looking down at the sleeping baby.
"She's Rosie Jonas." He said to the nurse and she wrote it down before leaving us alone again.
"Rosie is such a beautiful name." I whispered and he nodded with a chuckle.
"Sophie wanted it to be her name so...it's the less I can do to keep her alive." I nodded briefly and he rubbed his eyes. "Umm, I know you won't let anything bad happen to her...would you really stay with her?" He looked at me and I nodded.
"Sure. You can go rest and come back later."
"That's what I'll do." I smiled slightly at him and he pressed his lips together before caressing my arm softly. "Thank you." I nodded and he left walking slowly.
Once he was out of the room, I sat beside the incubator and looked at the baby as she started to wake up. She opened her eyes and looked directly at me causing my heart to skip a beat. She was really beautiful.
She glanced at me with her blue eyes and put her little hand in the glass as she stared at me right in the eyes.

"Hello Rosie..." I whispered to her and put my hand on hers through the glass.
