JOE'S P.O.V.:
I woke up in morning with Rosie crying and stood up to pick her in my arms. "Hey baby, I'm here. It's a beautiful day." I told her and then heard a chuckle behind me.
"Well, actually it's a rainy day..." I turned around and saw Demi smiling at me. "Good morning."
"Good morning. Say hi to Demi." I whispered to Rosie and moved her hand as a wave to Demi causing her to chuckle.
"Hi baby Rosie." She said walking closer to us. "How did you sleep? It probably was a nightmare to sleep in a chair." I shrugged.
"It wasn't that bad. I actually haven't slept too many times in my bedroom...I don't wanna leave Rosie alone much time."
"And that's understandable but you should sleep there. You're back is gonna hurt everytime if you don't do it." I nodded knowing she was right. My phone started ringing and I looked at Demi.
"Can you stay with her while I talk?"
"Sure. Come here baby girl." She picked my baby in her arms and I grabbed my phone.
"Hello?" I asked on the phone.
"Joe, hello, it's Sally Turner." I smiled slightly. "How are you and Rosie doing?"
"We're doing very good, what about you?"
"We're doing good too. So, we don't wanna be a burden but we'd like to visit you guys. We wanna have contact with Rosie even if Sophie...is not around anymore." I gulped hard and nodded.
"That's great, you're her grandparents so that's totally understandable...and much appreciated."
"Can we go today and have lunch with you?" She asked me and I glanced at Demi.
"Umm, I have a visitor here already..." I said and Demi shook her head with wide opened eyes. I knew she would tell me she's leaving already, but I was faster. "It's one of my best friends and it was friends with Sophie too...don't know if you mind her being here with us today. She's a very sweet person." I said and Demi rolled her eyes with a smile on her lips.
"Oh, of course not. We just really wanna see Rosie so it doesn't matter at all."
"Okay, that's amazing then. What do y'all wanna eat?"
"Umm, we'll take the food to yours so you don't have to cook today." I smiled.
"It's not necessary."
"We wanna do it." I nodded.
"Thank you. We'll be waiting for you here to have lunch."
"Great, goodbye."
"Goodbye." I said and hang up before turning my eyes to Demi again. She sighed.
"Joe, I could've simply left. I don't wanna be uncomfortable or anything." I shook my head.
"I promise you won't be uncomfortable. They're nice people to be around."
"I know, I just don't wanna be a burden here...maybe I should go home already."
"Hey, don't worry. We're gonna be fine. And plus...I need you to help me with something that I've never done before." She raised her eyebrows.
