"I'll tell you after we have breakfast. We need to eat something."
"Okay...is it gonna be difficult to do?" I chuckled as we walked downstairs with Rosie in her arms
"Well, I've never done it before so I'm not that sure about it."
"You're scaring me."
"Oh, don't worry. We'll be fine." I said with a chuckle and started making some coffee for us while I prepared a bottle for Rosie.
"Do you want me to feed her?"
"Uh, well...y-yea...if it's not a big deal for you. I'd love that." She nodded with a smile and I gave her the bottle.
"Look what daddy made for you, baby. This must be delicious...do you wanna give it a try?" She asked to my baby before laying her in her arms and starting feeding her. "Yes, that's it beautiful girl. Told ya it was delicious, your daddy is one of the best cookers I know."
"Oh, thanks." I told her and she laughed. "You're just trying to make me look good in her eyes, but thanks anyways."
"No, I'm not doing that. I really do like your food. I've always told you about it, so stop faking it." She said and looked to Rosie again. "Your dad always tries to play the modest guy...but I'm gonna tell you a secret. He's not modest at all." She said and we both laughed while Rosie just looked at her.
"She really likes you." I said and Demi smiled at me.
"Well, that's probably because she is still a baby. Wait until she's like 5 years old...she's gonna forget about me." I shook my head.
"If you don't walk away, she probably won't ever forget about you."
"I hope so." I nodded and put her coffee cup in front of her on the breakfast counter. "Thanks."
"I don't know if you'll like it but I tried my best. And also, I made toast for you...with cheese."
"Oh, that sounds like a winner recipe." We laughed and I shrugged as we started to have our breakfast while Rosie was on her car seat near us. "So...what are we gonna do now?"
"Well, I've never done this before and I don't feel ready to do it on my own...but now that you're here and her grandparents are gonna visit her...would you help me bathing her?"
"Aw, really?" I nodded. "Yes! Of course yes...that's so cute."
"She may not like the water, we don't know." She shrugged.
"I'm sure she will, she looks like a natural swimmer." I chuckled.
After a while, we cleaned the kitchen and walked upstairs to give Rosie her first bath. I watched Demi as she started to fill Rosie's plastic bath with warm water and how she controlled the temperature with her arm.
"How's the water? I don't want my baby to burn...or to freeze neither."
"Joe, you're underestimating me. Did you forget I have a younger sister? I know how to do this."
"Well, I have two younger brothers and I have no idea of how to do this."
"You're gonna have to learn. Look, I think the temperature is ready." She told me and I touched the water.
"Umm, isn't it too cold for her?"
"No, if I turn it hotter, she's gonna cry."
"Okay then, I think is ready." She nodded and glanced at me as I picked Rosie from her care seat. "How does this work now."
"You just take off her clothes and grab her while I bath her. Kay?"
"Alright." We started bathing her and, just like Demi said, she didn't cry.
"Umm, can you give me the towel?"
"Sure." She grabbed Rosie and I reached for the towel but had to take a pic of them as they looked at each other intensely.
"Hey!" Demi told me and I chuckled.
"Sorry, I just needed a pic from her first bath. Now she's never gonna forget you." She small smiled to me and I wrapped the rob around Rosie picking her in my arms.
"You're ready to get dressed little lady." We walked back to the bedroom and Demi flashed me a smile as I put her diaper on.
"Can you dress her up while I clean the bathroom?"
"Yup." Demi told me and started dressing her up while I went and cleaned the bathroom. When I entered back to the room, Rosie was ready and was actually really cute dressed. "You like the clothes I chose? We still will put her pants on but I think she looks cute."
"She looks like the most beautiful baby in the world." As Demi tried to find her pants, I took the moment to take my baby a pic to finally present her to the world.
"Here they are Rosie." Demi said and put her pants in slowly while I posted the picture, turning the comments off.
