General POV "Betts, come on we're going to miss our flight!" Jug called. "I'll be down in a second" she called back. She raced down the stairs with a suitcase in her hand, passing it to the chauffeur, who grabbed the bag from Betty. "Thank you, we'll be out in a minute." She walked over to the living room to see her 3 babies sat on the carpet having a tea party at Ayla's demand. "Lala, you're going to hate me for this but you're going to have to let daddy go. We need to catch our plane." "Well realistically you don't need to but you want to." "And when did you learn words like 'realistically' little miss?" "When I read daddy's book." She stated bluntly. "You what?" Betty replies, wide eyes shooting at Jug. Betty knew that that book was not appropriate for children, especially their children. Let's just say that it has some personal information about their relationship in it. "What did I say? I knew I could get mom to do her scaredy cat face, didn't I? And you underestimated me..." He told Ayla, taking the tiara off his head. "You're lucky I'm not hitting you across the face right now Jones." "Oohh, someone's getting kinky, save it for le francais mademoiselle." He whispered low in her ear. She wrapped her arms around his waist. "I don't know if I can wait that long...ever thought about joining the mile high club?" She asked with a mischievous grin. Jug threw his head back and groaned. "Really you two? In front of the kids?" Veronica emerged from the kitchen. "Oh it's nothing they haven't seen or heard before." Jug replied. Betty giggled as she brushed passed him to see the kids. She knelt down next to Ayla and placed, what seemed like an hour long kiss on the crown of her head, just in front of her tiara. "Be good for Auntie V. I love you so much, baby, okay?" She told her oldest child with tears in her eyes. "I love you too, Mommy. Have fun in Paris. Promise to call me every night." "I promise, Lala." They embraced each other in a sweet hug. Jug and Betty swapped children to shower in love. Betty scooped up her son and started blowing raspberries all up his arm. "Mama stop!" He squealed, trying time to wriggle out of her grasp. She stopped and looked down at him whilst she carried him like she did when he was a young baby. She gathered him close to her chest and whispered to him. "Promise me not to grow up too much whilst we're gone." "Jesus B, you're going for the weekend, anyone would think that you're never going to see them again." At this point a tear has dropped from Betty's eye. "You wouldn't understand. I carried each of them for 9 months, that bond never goes away. I'm not used to being without them." Betty finished with a kiss on her baby's forehead. Jughead reached for her waist and pulled him into his side. "I know, but you deserve a break and this weekend is the perfect time to do that." Betty nodded as Jug wipes the stray tear on her face. "Come on, we better get going." They all walked over to the door and both Betty and Jug crouched down for a family group hug. "We'll see you in a few days. Call us if you need anything and I mean anything." Jug called as they made their way to their car. The children waved as their parents drive out of sight. "Who wants to make choc chip cookies and watch Frozen?" V asked. "Me, me, me." The children responded in unison as they skipped back inside their house that was potentially quite expensive but very well deserved on their parents behalf. On the plane "I seriously can't believe you! First class? Betts, that must have been expensive." Jug leaned back in the private double bed on the plane.
