Out From Within the Shadow

Today is the day that I can crumble

become humble,

perhaps stumble;

wonder why it's left in a mess

and why when there is so much love

I can be made to feel so less.

Today is the day that I question,

forget to mention,

make a suggestion.

Of what love means, I try and make sense.

Does it mean hurting others?

Is it leaving the other one tense?

Today is the day that I gain strength,

go to any length,

to find a wavelength,

to feel the love, I have, that we share,

in order to quash being disheartened

when the reality shows you don't care.

Today is the day that is awesome!

I am feeling awe,

could keep saying Cor!

With the world, I have the feeling of being one

and also a massive part of today

could just turn out to be fun.

Today is the day that I walk on!

Carry on,

even jog on,

if someone wishes me so.

Seeing the difference now between love and not

will help guide me on the way to go.

Today is the day that I look back,

make reflection

and see perfection

in the journey I chose to tread.

Yes Sir, I may be considered a female dog

but you are a massive bonehead.

Today is the day that I then shrug.

Ask what can I do?

See it's finally through.

See also there's nothing left.

Smile through the tears that hold sorrow

and feel joyous instead of bereft.

Today is the day I say Thank You!

Sit with Grace;

actually embrace

the love and the feelings anew.

The wonder of this is amazing!

I never realised that this would ensue.

Today is the day I am healing.

I maybe less appealing

while my heart is reeling.

Open now,

one more step to be whole.

Collecting the fragments of heartbreak

and gluing each piece with my soul.

Today is the day that is for me,

so that I can see

and also finally free

all the hurt, the anger and the sorrow.

Sitting here within this life today

so I can walk my new life tomorrow.

Today is the day that I'm grieving!

Everything's leaving!

All of me I'm retrieving.

On the road ahead now I'll be strong.

Just one Thank You is left to put out there.

Blimey! It didn't take very long.

Today is the day life's amazing!

I enter new phasing!

My spirit is raising,

right up to where it's meant to be!

I'm aware now and I'm happy.

This time it was all done naturally!

Today is the day that is just today.

I can go out to play!

I can have my say!

I can do whatever I like

and to those who see fit to judge me,

well you can literally go take a hike.

Today is the day that I'm fuming!

All consuming

but I'm blooming

into the flower that's grown from the seed.

I look out through the window of life

and see I have all that I need.

Today life for me is glorious!

I can be sanctimonious,

yet I am harmonious

with the world and the people within.

I can face what comes with a great big bird

or face it with a grin.

Today is the day my shadow is in force.

I will endorse.

I'm on a course

set for the world to see.

I'm one!

I'm whole!

I'm complete!

Loving my entire esprit!

Today is the day that I bless.

I may digress

or even regress.

I'll show the world that I'm not scared to fall!

I will allow my heart to open

and love the world, standing so tall!
