The leaves turning to red, brown and gold,
the temperatures varying from warm to cold.
The season the world calls autumn or fall
is a time of great beauty, before winter's call.
It's only the evergreens that now succeed.
With their berries bright it is guaranteed
that the visiting robin will be able to eat
his natural food, as well as the purchased treat.
