Out From Within the Shadow

It is the end!

The end of an era

and now is the time

for good things to come nearer.

The healing is done.

I'm lost in the power

of sitting on the moon

as the stars around shower.

It's time now to glisten

and shine like the sun.

This part is over.

This part is done.

All left to do now

is sit within grace

and walk my path truly,

with the past just a trace.

Only sweet memories,

to make me smile,

especially when I sit

within them a while.

Without them having been

I wouldn't be here,

so the least I can do

is hold them all dear.

With joy and elation

right from the start,

they make up me today,

each and every part.

I'll move forward with each.

No time to dwell.

All with their own place

to make my heart swell.

Onwards and upwards

and way past the moon.

There's nothing to stop me

and it will happen.

Soon!

than I think.
