Tzuyu was irritated.
Over the past month, in fact, ever since the first Quidditch Match, Chaeyoung has been acting strange. Her once excited attitude and behavior transformed into a strained happiness. What she means by that is, she's happy but something is holding the happiness back from reaching her eyes. She doesn't push it or ask too many questions because she's never been one to do so. She understands that even Chaeyoung likes quiet and privacy, when they hang out on weekends nowadays, the majority of the time is spent in silence listening to music. Along with listening to music, Chaeyoung draws while Tzuyu studies. It was one such weekend in a strangely cold November, right before the week of a big Transfiguration exam. They had to do a written test on properties of transforming something that was alive and transformed into an inanimate object back to it's original form without knowing what it actually was. Of course, they were given hints but it's still incredibly difficult. Tzuyu knows all of this and she knows Chaeyoung knows how to perform spells but she's never been too good at written Transfiguration exams.
"You know, Chaengie, you should probably study for Transfiguration," Tzuyu says after about an hour of silence from the shorter girl.
"I...I am...I just don't want to do it now," She sighs, "Plus, for some reason...I can't find my transfiguration book."
"You lost it? Or did someone take it?" Tzuyu asks immediately looking up and over to the shorter girl.
"No! Um, I probably just misplaced it," Chaeyoung says with a small smile as she makes eye contact with Tzuyu. "It's alright, I'll find it later."
"Alright...but uh, if you need help finding it," Tzuyu says, toning back her aggressiveness, "Don't be afraid to ask, okay?"
"Of course, Tzuyu-ya," Chaeyoung smiles but then shivers as a gust of cold wind blows through the slightly ajar window. "I'm so cold..."
"Yah, you should have put on a jacket," Tzuyu says and she takes off her own to give to Chaeyoung.
"Eh? No, it's okay, aren't you cold?" Chaeyoung asks and Tzuyu shakes her head.
"I'm kind of like, one with the cold," Tzuyu shrugs and gestures for Chaeyoung to take the jacket, "I know you guys don't point it out but I'm aware that my hands are cold all the time."
"Well, I like your cold hands," Chaeyoung says, giving in and finally taking Tzuyu's jacket. "This is going to look like a dress on me, isn't it?"
"Maybe," Tzuyu chuckles as she watches Chaeyoung put it on, "You look cute."
"Well, it would be a shame if I didn't," Chaeyoung laughs but blushes at the compliment. "You know, Ravenclaw House colors look good on you. The indigo-purple with the white or silver...it makes you look both cool and pretty at the same time."
"Really? I always believed I looked kind of...stern? Or...scary? When I wear dark colors," Tzuyu says as she looks down at her Ravenclaw sweater, "Even just having my hair this dark makes me look slightly...intimidating. Yes, intimidating, that's the word."
"Well, I think you look cool...I'm guessing you've never dyed your hair any other color except brown before?" Chaeyoung asks as she reaches over to touch Tzuyu's brown hair.
"Nope, and my Aunt and Uncle only want me to dye my hair brown so I can look like mom," Tzuyu says, "She dyed her hair brown."
"Ah...well...what if we dyed your hair a greenish blue?" Chaeyoung asks and Tzuyu cocks her head at the younger girl.
"Well, I'm not against trying something new but how would you get the dye and wear would you dye my hair?" Tzuyu asks, "In the bathroom?"
"Yeah, let's go to that bathroom no one really goes to...where that ghost is," Chaeyoung says, "They say she's alright, she's nosy but doesn't spread gossip or rumors...plus it's just dyeing your hair so there's nothing crazy about that. It's not like we're making a potion...but anyways, I can just send a letter to my parents to buy dye and send it over. They probably will be reluctant but considering the fact that they know we're good friends, they'll probably send it."
"Hm...alright then," Tzuyu decides as she watches Chaeyoung play with her hair. "I'm sure my hair will be back to black by the end of the school years so this is alright."
"Mm, are you staying at Hogwarts for the holidays, again?" Chaeyoung asks and Tzuyu shakes her head
"No... we're going home this year..." Tzuyu sighs as she looks out the window. "I'd really like to stay here though."
"I wish we could bring you and Nayeon home with us..." Chaeyoung sighs, "I mean we could but that would require your parent's permission and they'd definitely say no to it."
"That's true...hey, it's almost lunch," Tzuyu says as she looks at the radio's clock, "Let's head down."
"Alright," Chaeyoung says and she stands up. When Tzuyu is done putting her books away and finally looks at Chaeyoung she snorts.
"What?" Chaeyoung asks, turning around to face Tzuyu.
"You look like you're being swallowed by my jacket," Tzuyu laughs and Chaeyoung punches her in the shoulder.
"Ya! C'mon, let's go eat food," Chaeyoung huffs and Tzuyu follows her, apologizing with a smile.
As they walk down the stairs, they notice Nayeon and Jeongyeon briskly walking down the hall to where the corridor to the shrieking shack is. They were tempted to follow and ask them what they were doing but they decided not to because Chaeyoung's stomach growled.
When they arrived in the Great Hall, they expected the others to be there because Nayeon and Jeongyeon were back but they weren't. They just shrugged it all off and proceeded to eat lunch. For some reason, whatever heating the castle had was not working and Tzuyu found herself feeling the cold gradually.
"Here...let's sit next to each other," Chaeyoung says and she gets up to sit next to Tzuyu.
Both girls are shoulder to shoulder and eating as much of the hot food and drinking as much of the hot drinks as possible. When they're done eating they walk to Gryffindor's commons door and stand before the painting of the Fat Lady.
"Ridiculous Reeling Rumpus," Chaeyoung says and the Fat Lady opens the door for them but before the door closes she says something:
"You know, someday, you'll get caught sneaking each other into your dorm rooms."
"Don't worry, Ma'am, we aren't here for long when we do, are we?" Chaeyoung smiles and the door swings closed.
"She's right, ya know," Tzuyu chuckles, "Last Christmas was the exception."
"It's fine, no one is here except first years and even the first years spend time out of their commons," Chaeyoung shrugs and they make their way up to Chaeyoung's room.
When they get to Chaeyoung's room, they jump onto her bed and wrap the blankets around the both of them. They take out the little radio again and listen in on whatever station they could get from where they were. They just peacefully listened as they were wrapped in the shared blanket, slowly falling asleep to the fuzzy radio noises and warmth from each other's bodies.
"Oooo, you both could've been in so much trouble," A familiar voice snickers and Tzuyu's eyes shoot open.
"Wh-what? What time is it?" Tzuyu frowns up at Jeongyeon.
"It's time to get up before everyone comes back," Jeongyeon says and shakes her head at her cousin who is still asleep on Tzuyu's shoulder.
"I'll go I guess..."Tzuyu says slowly and as she's about to get up, Chaeyoung stirs.
"Where are you going?" Chaeyoung mumbles before she opens her eyes to see Jeongyeon staring down at her. "What are you doing here?"
"Well for one, everyone is coming back from Hogsmeade and two..." Jeongyeon says turning serious, "You two...aren't actually dating, right?"
"What? We're twelve, we're best friends," Chaeyoung emphasizes as she hooks an arm around Tzuyu's shoulders, "We just fell asleep together, that's all."
"Alright then...but like, if you two are or ever do...I'm cool with it," Jeongyeon smiles briefly before turning serious, "Don't do anything inappropriate."
"Yeah, yeah, let's go now," Tzuyu sighs as she gets up, helps Chaeyoung up and pushes Jeongyeon out.
As they left Gryffindor tower, not many people noticed Tzuyu in the commons so they left pretty smoothly. As they walked down the halls, they walked pass a group of four Slytherins that Tzuyu has seen with Alexander before and glared at them. They flinched at her gaze but glared at Chaeyoung, whom just kept walking. But none of them, not even an observant Tzuyu, noticed her fist clench and her hard swallow.

TWICE's Perfect World Japanese Album came out and damn the songs-
I overall noticed more English mixed into their songs; like they're preparing us for the English Album. I really like how different Good At Love sounds but my all time favorite in the album has got to be Four Leaf Clover. It's got the same idea as Feel Special but with a different sound. Thank You, Family sounds like it's directed towards not just their family but also to each other. PROMISE though, that made me tear up. In The Summer and PIECES OF LOVE were heart warming; In The Summer made me feel a lot of nostalgia. Thoughts on their songs?
