•*¨*•.¸¸☆*・゚aishi's pov

the day has finally come.

today is the first premier of the tokyo blade play.

i was holding a copy of the play bill for the play that showcase taiki in the front page. i walked inside of the theater and sat on the back seat that taiki reserved for me.

i placed my bag down on my chair before sitting down, placing the playbill on my lap.

as soon as i sat down and watch people enter and gather on the seats of the theater, i was able to spot some familiar faces on the crowd.

for instance, i saw ruby-chan and miyako-san at the back, the whole love now cast seating near them.

i was placed on the second row seat, a place that was just enough for me to see the entire stage.

"ah, prodigy's friend?" i looked behind me when i heard someone speak.

"g..gotanda-san?" i asked, smiling weakly as i was able to see the older man behind me.

"did aqua invited you too?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. i laugh sheepishly and shook my head.

"funny how you mention thay but...aqu-cchi isn't the one who invited me. i have other friends you know..." i mumbled, almost sounding offended by the implication that the older man was saying.

"you're putting words on my mouth prodigy" he let out a chuckle, causing me to secretly roll my eyes at him.

a question popped out of my head as i remembered something. i turned my head to him before opening my mouth.

"ne, gotanda-san..." i started, looking to the side and hesitantly speaking. "...did...did aqu-cchi and akane-san really spent most of their afternoon at your house?"

fuck, am i this desperate for assurance? maybe yes, maybe no, who the fuck knows.

"...oh" gotanda-san looked at me before he scratched his chin. "yeah, the two insisted that i helped them with their skills so they've been loitering around my studio."

"just training, and nothing else...right?" i asked with a wide eyed look. he just shrugged and nodded.

"keep your jealousy at bay, female prodigy, they're only training" my cheeks reddened as i turned away, crossing my arms.

"i'm not jealous, you're hearing and seeing things that people don't see, gotanda-san"

"yeah, yeah, whatever kid." he patted my shoulders before moving his attention somewhere.

i huffed a little and just decided to pay attention to my surrounding. i have already went in this theater because of taiki's previous play.

i really like their utilization of modern technology to bring each scenes to life and also let the viewers experience the things happening on those scenes.

the only downside for me was the super cold air conditioner that they use here. i had to wear a sweater to survive in here.

"eh, aishi-chan?"

i lifted my head when someone called my name. my eyes brightened when i was able to recognize three out of the six people standing near me.

"raida-san? abiko-sensei? goa-san?" i exclaimed standing up and bowing a little.

"uwah, mirai-chan, long time no see..!" abiko-sensei exclaimed, holding my hand as her eyes shined brightly again.

'ah—, she still calls me mirai..'

"hello, abiko-sensei..." i greeted with respect as i let her be happy. she was starting to shake my shoulders, making my soul almost escape my body.

oh my goodness, is she really this strong?

"uh, abiko-sensei, you're kinda making her dizzy already..." the soft voice of the other woman exclaimed as she tried to pull the girl away.

"ah are you dizzy, mirai-chan? i'm sorry  but you're so prettier in real life than on the screen. it's like mirai really came back to the modern world" abiko-sensei exclaimed, her eyes started to lighten again.

"mirai? like your new character in tokyo blade?" the brown haired mangaka asked while abiko-sensei nodded eagerly.

"ah, kichijouji-sensei, i want you to meet aishi-chan, she was a great help during our scriptwriting call that i was telling you about" the purple haired girl exclaimed with excitement on her voice.

kichijouji-sensei turned to look at me and gave me a smile, offering her hand.

"nice to meet you, aishi-chan, i'm kichijouji yoriko. i'm the mangaka of sweet today, if you heard about it..." i accepted her hand and shook it gently.

"nice to meet you, kichijouji-sensei, i have read and watched sweet today..." she just smiled blankly before shaking my hand.

ah, i might've punched a sore spot within her, ha ha

"you watched the show?" kichijouji-sensei asked.

"yes, but it wasn't that bad....i think" raida, sensing the weird atmosphere between us, pulled me into a hug.

"aishi-chan~! you did came to the show" he exclaimed. i just let out a sheepish smile and greeted him.

"hello, raida-san, congratulations for the premier..." i replied after he finally let go of me.

"don't congratulate me yet, aishi-chan~! you can congratulate me once the play is done" he mumbled, smiling proudly.

"sure, ha ha" i said, giving him a small smile. the two mangakas left first to go to their assigned seats while goa-san decided to go somewhere first.

i looked up and saw a familiar producer behind him and he seem go have recognized me too.

"ah, you're that creepy girl back in sweet today, aren't you" tf do you mean by creepy girl?

"i already apologized to you back then, kaburagi-san..." i muttered quietly.

"eh, you know each other already?" raida-san asked.

"i saw her before in a set, but didn't had much luck with talking with her" kaburagi shrugged.

"i was delivering food back then.." i mumbled.

"is that so? well, its great that you know a lost of people, aishi-chan" the sound of the speaking being turned got everyone's attention.

[attention to all audience, the play is about to start in five minutes. everyone is encouraged to now sit down on your assigned seats and wait for the play to start.]

"ah, that's our cue, see you later, aishi-chan~!" i watched as raida-san and kaburagi-san walk away, leaving me alone.

i shrugged and just sat down, looking at the stage with excitement and anticipation.

after five minutes, the stage light up as the screen opened up. it shows a video of sayahime dancing with a sword in her hand..

"there was once a great war..renowned warriors, with their own convictions and ambitions in their hearts, continued to fight...but the conflict saw no victor." the narrator started speaking.

"the 21 swords would decide the fate of the world were scattered across the far east."

"this story begins with a certain man obtaining a single sword..."

the spotlight started to change colors as  the background lights illuminated the platform where all characters are standing.

the music is really upbeat as the screen lights up once again, showing the manga version of blade.

i almost got caught lacking once the manga version was replaced by a photo of taiki wearing his costume.

the photo changed into a live feed of taiki (blade) moving his sword while smirking at the camera.

"you damn player..." i mumbled as the screen goes black and changed into a manga photo of tsurugi

kana then appeared, holding two swords and smiling at the camera as she was introduced as "tsurugi".

my smile widened even more when kizami is starting to get introduced.

'you're going to do well, melt...' i thought to myself as melt (dressed as kizami) was shown.

i almost roll my eyes when monme was introduced. i'm not going to apologize, i still hate that bitch.

when a photo of touki was shown, i had to clutch my chest to stop it from beating so quickly.

"damn it, aqu-cchi..." i mumbled as i watched aqua look at the camera with a serious expression.

'go my loml!!!'

and for the last one, the main antagonist of the current arc sayahime was shown removing her mask and facing the crowd.

the screen closed as it slowly turns white, showing the play's title.

i sat comfortably on my chair as the real show finally starts.

my lips curved into a small smirk as i leaned back. my eyes slowly brightening with interest and anticipation.

tokyo blade, huh? impress me with your acting, everyone.
