Special Containment Procedures:

Area-232 has been built specifically for and around the only known SCP-6032 colony in the Atlantic Forest, Brazil. No less than three guards are to be stationed at each of the six entrances and they are to be rotated out daily. All personnel may be allowed inside the area for recreation and social needs but must be closely monitored.

Respect towards SCP-6032 entities is mandatory, accepting gifts is advised but optional. Colony members may request items, due to their harmless nature, matchsticks, lighters, kitchen equipment (such as pottery, blades, utensils), and bonfire fuel are valid requests due to their knowledge of basic culinary art. Weapons (other than those trusted to be used only as kitchen equipment) are to be confiscated.

At the time of a containment breach, the area is to be locked down and the escaped instances recontained. Respect and courtesy are still advised to be used in escorting SCP-6032 instances back into containment, as SCP-6032 appears to be mostly compliant. Evacuation of the colony is only to be used as a last resort in occasions such as a raid by a Group of Interest or the destruction of the area.

Description:

SCP-6032 is a species of humanoids with distinct features of birds. Their feathers are exclusively pale blue, other colors have not been confirmed to be in SCP-6032 instances, though their iris color varies in dark blue, cobalt blue, and yellow. Currently, there are more than one hundred and thirty (130) instances of SCP-6032 living under Foundation containment.

SCP-6032 is classified into two classes, SCP-6032-A and SCP-6032-B. SCP-6032-A is the collective designation of humanoid birds of all ages and sizes. SCP-6032 refers to SCP-6032-A's unhatched offspring or their eggs.

SCP-6032's wings can grow up to two meters in length. An instance exhibits growth on its head similar to human hair, these growths can grow up to 2.5 feet long. SCP-6032 can reproduce one egg at a time, which is the size of an average human infant. Hatched offspring are near identical to human infants as well.

Despite lacking the ability to speak English, SCP-6032 are kind and social to subjects, offering them gifts and often taking interest in human topics. Some SCP-6032 instances display knowledge of culinary art and can create basic dishes such as soup, salad, steak, and others. Food may be one such gift. They also display knowledge of using basic tools but would prefer to use their "talons," either on their feet or the "talons" unsheathed from their fingers. They can also create objects out of organic and inorganic material, such as baskets, tables, beds, rugs, or other easily made furniture.

Addendum-6032-01: However, harming or threatening an instance or its offspring, be it intentionally or unintentionally, will result in that instance and all instances related to it reacting negatively to the subject's presence, with usually no available redemption to it. Further interaction with the instance or the offspring exclusively may result in a violent offense. (See Experiment-6032-07.)

The theory that SCP-6032 instances were descendants of harpies was considered at first, as SCP-6032's physical traits matched that of a harpy. But it was soon debunked as mostly positive social traits of SCP-6032 rivaled the normal social traits of harpies, as harpies were depicted to be vengeful and despising creatures, as well as punishers from the Greek gods.

SCP-6032 was discovered when an unofficial book was released into the social media known as 抖阴社区, titled "The Feathered Tribe," which told the story of a group of tourists meeting a tribe of humans described as "covered in feathers," "able to fly," and "very hospitable." Dr. Dantensen was able to link the presumed fictional book with a real closed missing case in Brazil, which consisted of a tourist group going missing for one week before returning to society.
