Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-6879 is to be housed at Site-77 in a 2 x 2 x 2-meter soundproof room, on a violin-stand built into the center. The entrance and the containment cell is separated by a 3 x 1 x 2-meter hall.

The object must be cleaned at 3:00 PM on a bi-weekly basis by trained personnel. Unless under testing, no circumstances may SCP-6879's vocal chords be contacted in such a way that it may cause any noise. The object must be handled with caution, and any damage to it will result in disciplinary punishment.

Description:
SCP-6879 is a 13-inch-long orchestral violin painted a light lavender. The general wooden composition of the object is non-anomalous, however, when its strings are struck, an unknown force bends the air around it.

When SCP-6879 is played melodically, the air around it is slowly manipulated into a breeze and progressively gets stronger, but not to a destructive degree. Misplaying several notes for a few seconds, whether intentionally or unintentionally, will result in air pressure of the surrounding area dropping by 1.3 PSI. When the object's use is halted, all anomalous activities cease in 2-3 minutes.

Discordantly playing SCP-6879 will result in growing destruction of the surrounding area via wind speed. In the first stage of this, the wind speed slowly rises up to 33-36 MPH inside a diameter of 0.5 kilometers. The first stage will remain for an estimated 1-3 minutes until the second stage, where the wind speed causes destruction in a 1.1 kilometer diameter around SCP-6879 at around 56-61 MPH. On the third stage is where most users of SCP-6879 expire either due to the growing air pressure of 31 kilograms PSI or to the increased wind speed of 68-73 in the diameter of 1.3 kilometers. Theoretically, the anomalous wind can reach greater speeds but this has not been tested due to potentially detrimental property damage and loss of life. When the object's use is halted, all anomalous activities cease in 3-10 minutes depending on the severity of the anomaly's influence.

The object was found by Junior Researcher Dantensen and Agent Serrano on ⬛️⬛️/2/21, claiming that it was left behind from the recent raid by a certain GoI, the ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️ ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️. Dantensen claimed she had kept it before revealing it to test whether it was anomalous or not, before determining that it was and turned it in to the Foundation. The anomaly had been further studied and tested on since.
