Item #: SCP-7306
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-7306 is to be contained in a 3 x 3 x 3-meter soundproof room at Site-19. It is to be supervised at all times and guarded by at least one Class-C personnel, which is to be rotated normally. The room must be kept at sixty degrees to defrost the ice produced by SCP-7306.In the event of a containment breach (Which is normally caused by damage to the containment cell by irrelevant SCPs), at least three Class-C or above personnel equipped with noise-canceling headphones are to escort the entity back into containment. This is relatively simple due to SCP-7306's docility, if not its small levels of compliance.
Description:
SCP-7306 is a docile humanoid composed of smoke, however, it lacks the chemicals that would negatively affect the human respiratory system and is completely safe. In contrary to its smoke-like composition, the subject's body appears to have a light mass. Contact with it is similar to contact with average human skin, with an abnormally cold temperature that cannot be altered by any means. It is believed that lighter smoke coats the interactable mass of SCP-7306, which is seven centimeters thick. The subject appears to have the vague shape of a young female, however, its lower half is blended, leaving a trail of smoke on the ground. The subject is observed to levitate two feet off the ground, but it is not observed to reach further heights.
When SCP-7306 stays in a confined area for twelve hours, it will physically affect the area around it, freezing its surroundings. However, ice produced by SCP-7306 can be removed without difficulty.
SCP-7306 produces the vocalizations of an unidentified fourteen-year-old girl, always depicting disheartening perspectives of the outside world, which will usually overlap one another. Alternatively, SCP-7306 will produce soft sobbing vocalizations. This is followed by lighter-colored steam trailing out of its "eyes," which are two featureless illuminations on respective areas of its head.
Mentally-untrained personnel auditorily exposed to SCP-7306's whispers for longer than three hours will anomalously begin to experience paranoia and clinical depression. Further exposure of up to five hours will lead to deeper depression as well as a high probability of suicidal tendencies, otherwise, if subjects resist, they will continue to experience paranoia and clinical depression until they are isolated from SCP-7306 for twenty-four hours.
SCP-7306 exhibits sapience lower than average than normal humans, its dialect is mostly edged with sorrow and discouragement and it either does not respond to or vaguely responds to queries regarding its origin. SCP-7306 will only communicate when it knows it is being spoken to, on the contrary, it has a low attention span.
Due to its poorly understood nature and potential, SCP-7306 is classified as Euclid.
Interview Log 7306-1:
"SCP-7306?"
(7306 seems unaware of the Interviewer, crying at the end of the chamber.)
"SCP-7306?"
(7306 continues to be unaware of the Interviewer, crying at the end of the chamber.)
"What's wrong?"
(7306 slowly turns around, Interviewer notes that it seems to be confused.)
7306: Everything is wrong...
"Do you care to elaborate, 7306?"
7306: Why are you calling me that?
"It's standard procedure. Is it alright? Do you want me to call you another name?"
7306: I have no name... I don't care anymore... why should I have a name if nobody will remember it?
"E-erm, do you know why you're like this?"
7306: I wanted a happy world... but I'm born into all this disappointing chaos... and... and injustice and-
"SCP-7306, do you know why you're like this?"
(7306 ceases dialogue.)
7306: Why- why are you so calm? Do you think... that... I-I can handle opening my eyes to destruction all around me?
"No... no, I don't. 7306, I understand-"
7306: (7306 starts shrieking) NO, YOU DON'T! EVERYBODY SAYS THAT BUT THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THE PAIN! I - I - MAYBE I TRULY AM ALONE IN THIS WORLD AND I ALWAYS WILL!...
(7306's cries overlap one another rapidly.)
"SCP-7306 has gone berserk! I repeat, SCP-7306 has gone berserk!"
(Interviewer evacuates as facility guards stand guard at the containment cell. However, SCP-7306 did not attempt to breach containment and continued to shriek for twenty minutes until it ceased its screaming and began crying.)
