Christmas morning, it was the anniversary of Fred and I's first date. I rolled over in bed stretching out as much as I could without hitting Fred, his hand was on his chests as he snored quietly, his other hand tucked under the pillow he slept on.

Outside the window snow was falling and I could see it had snowed a few inches overnight, I carefully climbed out of bed pulling on Fred's sweater over my shirt and sweats before walking downstairs quietly wanting to have breakfast ready for everyone once Arthur and Molly arrived home.

I grabbed all the ingredients to make chocolate chip pancakes and got to work. I turned some music only loud enough to be heard by those downstairs, well that was only me for the moment.

The clock said it was a little after 8:30, I saw gifts piled in front of the tree, I spent the next hour humming to myself and setting the table when someone came down the stairs and joined me in the kitchen, Fred came up behind me wrapping his arms around my waist burying his face in my neck.

"Merry Christmas love." He whispered, I turned around in his arms and leaned up to hug him back.

"Merry Christmas Weasley." I smiled. "And Happy Anniversary."

He grinned excitedly as he pulled me into a tighter hug before kissing my nose and lips. Our moment ended when the front door opened and in walked Molly and Arthur, his arm was bandaged and Molly held him up by his waist.

"Hi! You're home!" I smiled pulling away from Fred, I walked over pulling out his chair. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling okay actually, my arm hurts but other than that and a headache I'm glad to be home." He smiled.

"Well were here to help you if you need anything." I nodded putting plates of food on the table and setting a cup of coffee in front of him.

"Indie, honey you didn't have to cook anything!" Molly spoke up as he leaned to hug me.

"Molly of course I did, I knew that you would if I didn't and you need to just be with Arthur, I truly don't mind helping around the house." I smiled hugging her back tightly.

"Thank you dear, I don't know what any of us did to deserve you."

Fred had went to get everyone upstairs so they would come down for breakfast. We all took a seat around the table and ate breakfast together before moving to the living room to open gifts.

Molly gave everyone sweaters which I was most excited for, Fred and I sat tucked away in our own little corner still able to see and talk to everyone but we also were able to have our own little gift exchange without being interrupted.

"Here, this are for you." I smiled shifting to look at him, his arms rested over my legs that were draped over his. He chuckled and took the two boxes before setting them on my leg. He grabbed one ripping the paper off the box and opened it the cuff links now visible. "I figured you would wear those for your first day opening the shop." I smiled, he grinned and picked one up looking at it before putting it back in the box and closing it. He kissed my cheek softly.

"Thank you my love." He whispered against my lips.

"Only the best for you." I smiled watching him unwrap the other one, my excitement growing as he got closer and closer to opening it. He seemed oblivious to me watching him as he quickly balled up the wrapping paper from both boxes and tossed it aside causing me to huff quietly.

"Oh, hell I'm sorry you wanted me to open it didn't you." He giggled. I nodded quickly. He kissed my cheek again quickly before he opened the box, the silver ring placed gently on a black cushion.

Fred's lips broke into a smile when he saw it, he carefully pulled it out of the box and examined it, the date on the inside now more visible.

"Indie.. this is incredible." He whispered looking over at me. "I truly love it."

"Like I said Fred, only the best for you."

He put it on his hand and smiled as he leaned over to kiss me, the coldness of his new accessory resting in my face.

"Thank you." He whispered kissing me again. He pulled away much to my distaste and grabbed a gift bag handing it to me.

"You didn't have to get me anything Fred." I chuckled.

"Yes I did." He grinned the excitement radiating off him.

I pulled out the tissue paper setting it next to me as I reached inside, I pulled out his old quidditch sweater  that I had stolen weekly when we first got together. He had told me that he lost it in an attempt to keep me from taking it.

"I thought you lost this?"

"Nope, just hid it away in my closet." He chuckled. "It was starting to smell girly and the guys made fun of me before games."

"So you lied!?" I frowned.

"Hey! For a good cause!" He chuckled. "Besides, it's yours now. My gift to you, for when you go back to school and you miss me."

"Don't think I'm over the fact you lied to me Freddie." I glared before a smile broke out across my face.

"You'll get over it." He chuckled.

I rolled my eyes setting the sweater on my legs before I reached back into the bag pulling out a box, I opened it pulling out a snow globe, it was identical to the one Dudley had broken a few year ago.

"W-where.. Fred how did you find this?" I whispered looking at the lab puppy who was wearing a scarf. "This is.. oh my god." I frowned my hand coming up to cover my mouth. I tipped it upside down before bringing it right side up. The snow falling around the dog.

"Its taken a while but I did everything I possibly could to find it, I went back to London a few weeks ago and found one in an old shop." He explained reaching up to wipe the tears from my eyes. "I figured out a spell to make this one unbreakable." He smiled.

"I.. holy shit Fred." I whispered setting it down and pulling his lips to mine. "Thank you, so much."

He kissed me back pulling me into a hug. "Anything for you." He nodded before pulling back again. "There is one more." He smiled.

I reached back into the bag pulling out a small purple box opening it up to see a ring placed gently on the cushion just like the one I had gotten him. It was extravagant or to showy but there was a small diamond sat directly in the middle of the band, clusters of small diamonds surrounded it.

"Now that one seems like it's more than it is meant to be right now, but that is a promise to you. A promise that I will marry you one day Indie Evans, a promise that we will get old together, have kids, get a dog, travel, or just lay around naked watching tv or listening to music. I've told you before and I'll say it again, I wanna marry you. You're my forever and That ring is my promise that everything I just said will happen." He smiled rubbing my cheek again as I slid the ring on my finger.

"Looks like great minds think alike Fred weasley." I smiled looking at his hand.

He chuckled kissing me again once more before pulling back slightly.

"Merry Christmas love, I can't wait to spend the rest of them with you." He whispered pulling me to him again. We both stared at our hands thoughts about our future running through our minds.
