I woke up in an old run down holding cell, the room was dark and cold. I looked around the room trying to see if I had a way out but I knew I didn't. A tall door was on the opposite wall a glass window built in the middle.
Standing up slowly I walked over to the glass looking through it in hopes that I would recognize where I was or someone I knew. I could make out the top of a mans head who was sitting against the door and I wanted to kick the door repeatedly till he opened it and somehow escape from there but I knew it was no use.
I looked at my jeans that were ripped due to me falling at some point back at the Burrow, I had cuts all across my legs and I was covered in dirt. Don't even want to know what I looked like in a mirror.
I took off my jacket and slid down against the wall pulling my knees up laying the jacket over me in an attempt to keep my legs and arms warm before closing my eyes.
A few days passed and I was getting more and more tired, my hair was dirty and matted and I wanted nothing more than to shower. Commotion caught my attention from outside the door before the door swung open and a tall blonde haired boy walked in.
"Oh my god." He whispered running over and kneeling down, he looked at the cuts on my legs and my dirty clothes. "How long have you been here?" He asked quietly
"I can't say. I don't know." I shrugged.
"I had no idea.. not until an hour or so ago.. Evans I'm so sorry."
"D-Draco why am I here?" I whispered.
"H-he.. the dark lord wants to use you to get Potter." He whispered.
"H-how will I help that?"
"Evans you're his family, he isn't going to just leave you here.."
"D-Draco no.. he can't know where to come.. he can't get hurt!"
"Hey. Hey.. stop listen to me okay. I'll get you out of here. Just let me figure out a way and we will get you out of here. Have you eaten anything?" He asked.
I shook my head
"I'll go get you food okay? I'll be right back."
Draco stood up walking to the door and closing it behind him, I heard the sound of his feet as he walked up the stairs. My eyes closed and I laid my head back on the wall.
I wanted to go home, back to the Burrow, I wanted to be with my family, and to get a shower. God did I want to take a shower. I waited and waited for Draco to come back down with some food and hours went by without seeing him again. It began to get dark and my anger towards Draco grew.
Did he know about this plan? Was he in on it the whole time? I couldn't help but assume that he was at this point. I had fallen back asleep for a little while longer before the door opened again. And he walked in quietly. His hands were empty as he walked over to me. I could see the stool in front of the door was empty so it was only Draco.
He held his hand out to me and helped me stand up. I stood up wobbly and steadied myself. He walked over to close the door and locked it holding out his hand.
"I'm gonna get you home okay? Just keep quiet and we will get you safe." He said quietly holding me close. I held onto his shirt as he closed his eyes and we were twisting and turning before landing inside the Leaky Cauldron.
Draco looked around us before he looked at me. "Just one second okay? Stay right here and don't move." I nodded hesitantly my hands covering my eyes a bit so they could adjust to the light. I sat down at a table in the corner as Draco walked over to the counter and ordered some food and a drink. He walked back over with the water and set it in front of me.
"Some food will be over in a second they are just finishing it but drink this please."
He didn't have to ask me twice, I took the glass in my shaky hands and drank it all in one quick go. A soft chuckle left his mouth as he watched me.
"I'm so fucking sorry that you were down there. If I had known I would have gotten you out sooner." He said quietly as food was brought to our table. He pushed it towards me and nodded as I took a bite quickly.
"Draco.. are you going to get in trouble for me not being there.. d-do I have to go back!?"
"No, no hey shh. You aren't going back. And no I won't get into trouble. They won't know it was me."
I nodded looking at my hands that were still shaking from not having eaten in days.
"Do you mind if I run to the restroom?"
"You don't have to ask." He nodded. "You're free to go wherever you'd like, but you can't leave here until after you finish eating."
"T-thank you." I said quietly before I ran to the bathroom, the image of myself in the mirror made me want to cry, my skin was pale and cold, my hair was matted and dirty. My jacket and shirt were ripped slightly and my jeans were a total loss. I used the restroom and washed my hands twice before walking back out and to the table. Draco sipped his drink and let me eat, no words were shared between us which I was completely fine with.
As I finished the last few bites of my food the door opened and someone walked in catching Draco's attention, he nodded towards me causing me to freeze and scoot my chair back.
"Hey, you're okay. It's okay.. relax please." He frowned grabbing my hand. "Everything is going to be okay now." He nodded as the person that walked inside turned the corner.
The tall boy with fire red hair stood in front of me in jeans and a t-shirt, his hair was a mess and his eyes had bags underneath them but he still looked incredible. I swallowed and looked at Draco who gave me a small smile.
"Go get him. He's gonna take you home now." He said quietly, I stood up and walked over to Draco who had stood up I gave him a hug and he hugged me back tightly. "I'm sorry again Indie, I really truly am."
"Thank you Draco." I whispered wiping my eyes. I pulled back and turned to look at Fred who was waiting for me. I made it to him within seconds and collapsed into his arms. He held my body to his tightly and buried his face in my hair.
"Let's get you home love." He whispered. "Thank you mate, I owe you one." He nodded towards Draco before he took my hand and walked back outside into the cold London air.
