You keep stepping backwards until your back hits the rocky wall. The slight sharp bits on the wall pinch at your back but you're too frightened to care about it.

Pitch walks closer over to you with a wicked smile, some shadow dust playing around his fingers.

"Where are your Guardians now?" He asks in a deep laugh.

You feel yourself begin to shake. Pitch has always scared you ever since you were 4 years old. He was the monster under your bed, the shadows on your wall, the troll hiding in the closet, all of the above.

A year ago you met the Guardians when Pitch began to get stronger using his power. You were going to be his first victim.

You see, Pitch started learning how to turn dreams into nightmares and he had a revelation. What if he could turn people into nightmares?

Pitch was going to try turning you into a nightmare since you're scared of him more than any other person in the world. He thought you would be a good first test subject.

But then the Guardians found out and rescued you and they've been there for you ever since. You were the first human they brought to North's place.

Pitch starts to fill his hand up with the shadow dust and he moves so close to you that when you move back, the sharp bits on the wall start to dig into your skin.

Suddenly you see North's sled up high in the sky from a distance. You smile beginning to feel happy until Pitch turns around to see them.

He grunts loudly then turns back to you and whispers;

"They want to save you? Fine. Let them save a nightmare."

You widen your eyes when you realize what he's about to do but you're too late to try to stop him.

Pitch shoves the shadow dust in his hand at your chest where your heart would be. He then begins to push and push until the shadow dust begins eating at your skin.

You screan loudly and feel your knees weaken as you fall to the ground. The pain is unbearable and it doesn't stop.

You see Jack jump out of the sled and fly towards you with his staph, screaming out your name. Then he gets attacked by Pitch's nightmares and your eyes fade out to darkness.

You awake in an attack position. Shadow dust is covering your arms like sleeves and your eyes go from being completely black to just your pupil again.

You blink and look around and the shadow dust drops from your arms. You see Jack in front of you with his arm stretched out.

"(Y/N) is that you?" He asks.

"Jack?" You reply.

"(Y/N)! You're alright!"

He immediately runs up to you and embraces you in a hug and you hug him back.

"W-what happened?" You ask feeling slightly dizzy.

"Pitch turned you into a nightmare but before you turned into one completely Sandman brought you back." Jack answers.

"Did I hurt anyone?"

"Only a little bit... but we'll make it."

You sigh and lean your face into his neck. Jack begins to softly pat your hair and you find yourself falling asleep.

When you awake the second time you're in a bed in North's place. Jack and North are beside your bed talking.

"Will she be alright?" Jack asks.

"She'll be fine," North replies, "she just needs some rest. That battle she had drained a lot of power out of her, but she'll come to."

You see Jack smile and thank North and you smile as well until you feel tired and fall asleep again. Jack turns to look at you and his smile becomes warmer.

"I don't want to lose her; she's my everything." Jack says.

"I know." North says placing a friendly hand on Jack's shoulder.

North smiles at Jack and leaves and Jack walks over to you and places a kiss on your forehead.

"I love you." He whispers.
