Hehehe Zuko of the Fire Nation! My childhood crush ^~^ TV show Zuko of course, because the movie was really bad. Also, sorry for not updating sooner! I was on holiday to Hawaii~ It was amazeballs. xD

Your legs were about to give way, your heart couldn't handle it anymore, your breathing was hitched and your forehead was sweating, but all you knew was that you had to get away. You had to escape.

You've been running from the Fire Nation for years now; ever since you stole from the Emperor he's been sending out upon thousands of armies to track you down. At first he wanted you back alive, to do some torturery things to you, but then his patience grew thin and now he doesn't care if you're back alive or dead.

He knows who you are, he's done his research. (Y/N) (Y/L/N) from the Western Water Tribe, best bender there. Once turned a man to ice and ran away from home at the age of 7. Living on your own since then and perhaps will be forever. But he doesn't know everything.

Like how you had to run away from home because your mother was ill and your father was abusive. He bashed to death your brother in front of you and threatened to kill you if you told anyone. You don't know why mother still lives with him. Well, used to live with him. A couple weeks after you left she died in her sleep. At least it was a peaceful death.

But whatelse the Emperor doesn't know is that you've been practicing blood bending. Of course you would never use blood bending to kill someone one, but you've only learnt how to freeze their blood in certain areas of their body. Probably really painful for them, you know, you've tried it on yourself.

You hope one day to use it on the Emperor and kill him, to stop this blasted war. But you've heard stories about the Avatar, and know only he can defeat the Emperor. Still, you don't want to sit by and wait for him to do the job, so you're still going to try. For your mother and brother.

You decide to take a small break by a pond and lean against a tree. You use your bending skills to bend away all the sweat on you and evaporate it in the air. You sigh and relax by the tree until you hear footsteps and you move into a combat position.

The figure that appears in front of you is almost hard to spot out since it is wearing black, but what you do spot out is the mask. A blue and white patterned mask with a face and fangs coming out of its mouth.

You've seen this mask before. Around the villages you stayed at there was always posters for those who were wanted by the Fire Nation. Of course you were up there so you teared them all down, but the masked figure was up there too, a lot of times aswell.

You can't remember its name, the Blue something, you can't remember.

The masked figure just stands there in a combat position aswell, looking ready to fight you, but you're too tired to fight anyone right now so you relax from your position and stand there looking at the person. You don't know if it's a girl or boy. Probably a boy, but you don't say anything.

"You're wanted aswell, aren't you?" you finally say.

He, you decide to call it, just stares at you still in his combat position.

"I've seen your posters up in town, I teared some down if that makes any consolation not to kill me."

Still no answer.

"You a boy or girl? I don't want to call you a certain gender incase I'm wrong..."

Again, no answer. Just combat position ready.

"You don't talk much, do you?"

You sigh since he's clearly not going to speak to you, so you turn around and head to the small pond. You kneel down and pour some water into your waterskin, daring not to use your bending in front of a complete stranger.

Now that you think of it, he's a complete stranger and your back is turned to him, so he could just walk up behind you and slice your neck off with one of his swords. Your power of positive thinking.

Before you can decide what to do you hear louder footsteps, more heavier and and much more of them. You stand up and turn around to see the masked figure looking through the trees you came from, staring out at the noise as well.

You run up behind him and look past the trees aswell to see the Fire Nation army catching up to you.

"Shhiiii-" you go to swear but you mother taught you not to, plus you're in a hurry so you choose not to.

You quickly shove your waterskin back in your belt compartment and start running away from the army when suddenly a hand tugs you back. You go to scream but another hand cups over your mouth.

You look in the corner of your eye to see the same blue mask so you shimmy from his grip and stare at him.

"What!" you whisper.

He points to the pond and then pinches his masks nose.

"You want me to hide under the water?"

He nods.

"No!" you whisper, "they'll find me in seconds!"

He just sternly stares at you and you sigh and head to the pond, you're way too tired to run anyway. You look at the masked figure one more time before jumping into the pond and sinking down to the bottom of the sand.

Everything is quiet, everything is cold. You don't know what is happening up top and you don't know when you should come up for air.

What if he's tricking you? What if he's lead you right into the Fire Nations trap? What if he's going to finish you off himself?

Suddenly you see fire blast above the water and figures moving around on the grass up top. You can't see much but you can see fighting whenever more fire balls blast around the pond. Before long the fire has settled and you see no more movement, so you rise to the top of the pond and gasp for air.

After wiping your eyes you glance around you to look at your surroundings. Dead Fire Nation bodies are everywhere, half of the once green grass has been burnt, some trees still have fire on them, and in the middle of everything stands the masked figure with his swords out, tipped in blood.

Did he just save you? Has he just fought all these Fire Nation men to protect you? It's a bit freaky but somewhat comforting at the same time.

He walks over to you and holds his hand out for you to take and you accept it, him pulling you up from the water and onto the now singed grass.

The water was cold so once you exit the pond you shiver and feel as if a ghost has walked past your grave. Freaky spirits, you think. Wait, spirits.... oh! He's the Blue Spirit!

"You're the Blue Spirit, aren't you?" you say slightly shivering.

He nods and you smile for perhaps once in all the years you've been running from the Fire Nation.

"Thank you, for saving my life."

He just nods again and puts his swords back into their place behind his back. You stare at him for a while longer until he starts to walk away, but you walk in front of him and prevent him from going any further.

"You didn't have to help me, yet you did, so for that I am enternally grateful. If you ever need anything you can always find me, I owe you." you say.

He doesn't say anything, just looks at you, then he continues on walking away.

You sigh relaxing a bit and decide to walk in a different direction to a town tonight.

Soooo, what you think? To be honest, not my greatest, but certainly my longest haha. I might continue this one, not sure, but I'm planning on making another one of this exactly the same but have it in Zukos point of view. Would you guys like that? No? Ugh I don't know.
