Now you're probably wondering; why does it say Reader x Zuko and not Zuko x Reader? Well I made an Imagine with Zuko being the Blue Spirit, and as he doesn't say much I've decided to write the same Imagine again but in his point of view. So Enjoy!!

Zuko's legs were on fire, they were burning with every step he took. His breathing was rough and his forehead was sweating, but all he knew was that he had to hurry. He had to save (Y/N).

She's been running away from the Fire Nation for years now, ever since she stole from the Fire Emperor. The Emperor told Zuko to send his men out to search for (Y/N) but after some time he wanted her back dead instead. Zuko knew that she had stolen from him, but from the years he's wasted on finding the Avatar he knows that her punishment shouldn't be death.

Perhaps a few days in the stocks but that would be it. Not ending her life.

He knows little about (Y/N). Like how she's the best bender in the Western Water Tribe, and that she is so powerful she once turned a man to ice. He also knows that she ran away from home at an early age and has been on her own ever since.

But that's all he ever knew.

Zuko wanted to learn more about (Y/N), and so he knows that the only way that he'll ever find out is if she tells him herself. But why would she? She hates him, and the Fire Nation. That is what gave him the brilliant idea of becoming another person, becoming... the Blue Spirit.

He leapt from tree to tree watching as (Y/N) ran with all her might away from the crowd of Fire Nation men that unforntuantly Zuko sent out. She was fast, almost as fast as him, and had made a considerable amount away from the army.

Zuko leapt onto one final tree as he saw (Y/N) stop by a small pond and lean against a different tree. Seeing that the Fire Nation men were far behind, he knew that stopping by the pond was a good idea for now. Still, she should be on her feet.

When (Y/N) bends the sweat on her forehead away, Zuko jumps down from the tree quietly. At least he thought he was quiet because as soon as he landed, he sees (Y/N) move her head to the noise and get in a combat position.

There's no need for him to hide now, so Zuko moves into her view and gets into a combat position as well. (Y/N) didn't move at all, she just stood still waiting for Zuko to throw the first punch, but he wouldn't unless she would.

Suddenly she relaxes from her combat position and and stares at him.

"You're wanted aswell, aren't you?" she says.

Zuko just remains standing in his combat position, not sure on what to do. She's never talked to him in a calm tone before.

"I've seen your posters up in town," she starts, "I teared some down if that makes any consolation not to kill me."

Kill her? Is that what she thought he was going to do to her? Well he is the Blue Spirit and he nearly always only shows his face, well mask really, whenever he's about to end someones life.

"You a boy or a girl? I don't want to call you a certain gender incase I'm wrong..."

Zuko says nothing. He can't speak. If he does she'll reconise his voice, and he doesn't have a clever disguise voice to use on her now.

"You don't talk much, do you?"

Zuko thinks to shake his head but then (Y/N) sighs and turns around, heading for the small pond. He relaxes from his combat position and stares at (Y/N). She kneels down by the pond and pours some water into her waterskin, not turning around even just once to look at him.

Suddenly he hears it; footsteps approaching his current location. Zuko rushes quietly near the trees and looks beyond them to see the Fire Nation men closing in on them.

Shoot, he forgot about them. (Y/N) moves away from the small pond and runs up behind Zuko looking out at the men aswell. Her breath tickles his shoulder and for a slight moment he can't help himself from breathing in her scent.

He never knew how well she smelled. She smelt like water lilies, or fresh frangipanies.

"Shhiiii-" (Y/N) goes to swear but stops herself.

She quickly shoves her waterskin back into her belt compartment and starts to run away back through the trees.

She can't run there! She'll get caught in a second!

Zuko runs after (Y/N) and grabs her hand tugging her back. She goes to scream but Zuko cups his hand over her mouth, quieting her. She turns slightly to look at him and then shimmies from his grip.

"What!" she whispers.

He goes to speak but realizes he can't so he points to the pond and then pinches his nose, hoping she'll understand what he means.

"You want me to hide under the water?" she asks.

He nods.

"No!" she whispers, "they'll find me in seconds!"

They'll find you in seconds if you run off! Zuko thinks.

He stares at (Y/N) strenly until she finally sighs and heads to the small pond. Zuko stands in the opening where the pond is and readies himself for the Fire Nation men. He hears the splash of the water and knows that (Y/N) has jumped into the pond like he wanted her too.

Suddenly the Fire Nation men emerge from the trees and stand to view the Blue Spirit. Zuko takes out his swords and gets into a combat position. Just as fast as Zuko blinks a fire ball shoots his way by one of the men.

Zuko easily dodges it and knocks the man who shot at him in the head with the back of his sword. Two other men rush at him but Zuko swings his swords towards them and slices them at the belly, making them fall to the ground.

Another Fire Nation man shoots fire at him and Zuko protects himself with his blade. Once the fire disappears from the blade of his sword Zuko stabs the man, then jumps over him and fights off the three at the back.

They all fight at him with fire and with fists but they are no match for the Blue Spirits speed and steel. Before long the three are on the ground and Zuko stands over them with his swords out, tipped in blood.

Suddenly he hears a gasp and he looks over to the pond where (Y/N) has reached the surface. He walks over to (Y/N) and helps her out of the pond.

She stands ontop of the now singed grass and shivers slightly.

"You're the Blue Spirit, aren't you?" she asks him.

He nods and (Y/N) smiles. He's never seen her smile before; she's beautiful.

What is he thinking? She's his enemy! Although he saved her he knows that she is still Water Tribe scum, and that one day he'll have to face her again but as Prince Zuko, not the Blue Spirit.

"Thank you, for saving my life."

He nods again and puts his swords back in place behind his back. She stares at him until Zuko feels uncomfortable and starts to walk away, but then suddenly she's in front of him.

"You didn't have to help me, yet you did, so for that I am eternally grateful. If you ever need anything you can always find me, I owe you." (Y/N) says.

Zuko feels disgusted with himself. He just saved her but now she's telling him to find her if he ever needs help. Owing him is not something she should be doing.

Zuko walks away from her and sighs after a moment of walking. He can't ever tell her the truth.
