        You finished cleaning the mess up a while ago and were now slumped on the couch, browsing through your phone. You apparently wore yourself out because your eyeslids grew heavy and you fell asleep. When you woke up, it was still dark outside. Having nothing better to do, you checked your phone. 6:30. Still time to sleep. You turned your phone off and rolled over onto your other side, falling asleep.

        You suddenly found yourself in the middle of the street, waiting for the green light. You were holding your mother's hand. It seemed as if you were 5 once again. The light turned green and the two of you began to cross the street. This was way too familiar. You ran to the other side, letting go of her hand, waiting for your mother to follow, when you hear a blood curling scream. Turning around, you are horrified by the scene. Your mother lay motionless on the ground, her body cramped under the tires of a car. Tears streamed from your face as you ran to her, picking up her half crushed hand. 

        "M-mom. W-wake up mommy! Wake up!" You gripped her hand, getting her blood all over your hands. You heard the sirens in the background over your sobs. Her eyes, which used to bee lively and bright, were now hollow and dead. You felt a hand on your shoulder. 

        "Little girl," said a deep voice from behind you. You turned around to face a police officer. Through the tears, you could make out his grim expression. "Back away from the body. Please," he said as you gripped your mother's corpse, blood staining your clothes. You shook your head as another police officer came over and picked you up. You began to shriek and punch him as you were separated from your mother. As you were taken away, you caught one last glimpse of your mother before she was covered with a cloth and taken away

        You woke up in tears, sobbing loudly. You sat there for a couple of minutes, motionless, staring at the wall. Why did you have to remember. Why now. When you finally forgot. You slowly got up and decided to check on the twins instead. When you went downstairs into the basement, you realized they weren't there. Waht were those trouble makers up to? You quickly ran upstairs, slamming the door behind you. 

        "John! Jade!" You yelled, checking upstairs. When you got to the kitchen, you found a note on the table. You picked it up and read it

             I know that you are worried about our where abouts at the moment but trust me. We're alright. We just went out for a cup of coffee, thats all. That stuff is good actually. Back at home we don't have it. Or. I never tried it. Either way. Karkat called. He said he'll pick you up at 2:00. He also said to tell you good morning. You guys look so cute together. ;) And we got the adress, so we'll be there

        You laughed at the note and put it down, getting yourself a poptart. While that was getting ready, you checked the time. 1. Great. You had time to prepare. You ran into your room and picked out a cute outfit. A black T-shirt and some cute jeans. As you finished dressing, the toaster popped, signaling that your poptart was ready. You ran downstairs and grabbed it out of the toaster, stuffing it into your mouth all at once. 

        The rest of the hour you just spent scrolling through your phone. The bell rang and you jumped out of your chair, smiling a bit. You threw on a jacket and opened the door. Karkat stood on the front step, smiling. He was wearing his black sweater once again. His cheeks were pink from the cold February air. Seriously. What was up with this weather? 

        "You ready?" He smiled and kissed you on the cheek softly. It felt odd. You weren't used to the fact that the two of you were dating. You blushed slighty and nodded, locking the door behind you. The two of you made your way towards Kasper's car. Karkat opened the door for you, letting you in first.

        You scooched all the way to the side, fixing your hair. Kasper turned around from the front seat and smiled at you. "You guys look cute together you know," he said, causing you to blush. Kankri smiled at you, waving a little. "Hello (y/n). Good day today, isn't it?" you nodded in response as Kasper strted up the car again.
