Alone (Jiyoo)

After my last class, I went to wait for Dami outside. As I was waiting somebody bumped into me and we both fell to the ground. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" She says as she stand up and helps me. "It's okay." I say as I rub my lower back. She looks at me then smiles and continues to bow. "It's okay really, you can stop bowing." I say and put my hand on her shoulder to stop her. She stands up straight and looks at me. We are staring at each other's eyes. I start to get shy because I hate making eye contact with people. "Kim Yoohyeon!" I hear Dami say. "Oh my friend is here, bye!" I say and wave at the girl who seems to be lost in my...everything?

She waves a goodbye and I walk over to Dami. "Who was that?" She asks. I rub my head, "I don't know some girl who bumped into me?" Dami raises an eyebrow, "On purpose?!" She clenches her fist and was about to approach the girl but I pull her by her wrist. "Yah, did I say on purpose? No it was an accident! She didn't see where she was going and accidentally bumped into me, she said sorry." I say. "Whew! I thought I was going to have to kick her ass too!" Dami sighs and I hit her shoulder.

"Where we going?" I say to Dami as we continue walking along the sidewalk. "Coffee! We need to hangout!" Dami says as she walks faster while pulling me towards her. "I should go home..." I say to Dami. She ignores me and we enter the Cafe. She orders us some ice coffee and we sit and wait. "I'm not letting you go home." Dami says. "Why not?" I ask. "Because last time I let you go home you tried to unalive yourself! I'm not going to let that happen! You are my best friend and I care about you a lot! Do you know how I would feel if you were gone?" Dami says with slightly watered eyes, "It would feel like a piece of me is gone..." She says now with a few tear drops streaming down her face. I hate seeing her cry and knowing that it's my fault she cries hurts me even more. It's just I'm no use in this world...

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry that I'm the reason you cry all the time... I'm sorry that you have to put up with a person like me..." I say now with tears. "Don't be sorry! Just...don't leave me alone okay?" She says with pleading eyes. I nod. I can't promise you anything Dami... Our coffee arrives and breaks us out of our tears. "Here is your coffee ladies!" The waitress says. I look at Dami to see she is practically drooling. I kick her leg under that table and she snaps out of her trance. "Um- w-what...oh y-yeah sorry." Dami stutters and the waitress just giggles and walks away. Dami clears her throat and sips her coffee. "Yah you were drooling!" I laugh and take a sip of my coffee as well. "I was not!" She says. "Was too!" I say and she kicks my leg under the table. "Ow!" I yell and everyone in the cafe turns to look at us. "is everything alright?" The same waitress says as she rushes to our table.

"No she kicked my leg!" I say while rubbing the area she kicked. "Ma'am why did you kick her leg?" The waitress asks Dami. Dami was obviously panicking haha. "Um...because she as making fun of me!" Dami says while pointing her finger at me like a small child. "Why were you making fun of her?" The waitress says looking at me. I smirk, "Well because she was drooling over you!" I say and look at Dami who had her mouth gaped open. The waitress looks at Dami and giggles, then walks away. "I'm gonna kill you!" Dami says. "Please do! It will be much easier if someone else did it!" I say with a chuckle and Dami hits my arm. "We are leaving, I'm embarrassed because of you!" Dami says and we get up to leave.

"Wait!" We hear a lady call from behind us. "Here..." She says while handing a small piece of paper to Dami. "What's this?" Dami asks as she takes the paper. "It's my number!" She says shyly. I could tell Dami wanted to jump up and down but I had to hold her in place. "Oh, I'm Lee Yubin but you can call me Dami if you'd like." Dami says while holding her hand out for a handshake. "I'm Lee Gahyeon!" She says and shakes Dami's hand. "Pretty...oh um I'll text you later!" Dami says and they say goodbye.

"You're welcome!" I say as I nudge her side. "For?" Dami asks. "You just got a girl because of me!" I say with a cheesy smile. Dami chuckles and nudges me as she walks me home.
